Wenfeng Pagoda, formerly known as Wenbi Pagoda, was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and is a five-story wooden pagoda. At that time, it was thought that there was a peak in the east, west and north of Duyun, but the lack of a peak in the south led to the scattered nozzle. Therefore, the tower was built here as the key to the nozzle and should be a symbol of southern civilization.

The wooden tower collapsed over the years, leaving only the tower foundation. In the 19th year of Daoguang reign (1839), Tao Tingjie, a native of Duyun, Gansu Province, wrote to his family and donated money to build a tower in 1200 yuan. Chen Xiqiao, the magistrate of Duyun, and Zhong Haimen, the magistrate of a county, also collected the gentry to raise 2200 yuan to build a stone tower on the original tower foundation, and renamed it Wenfeng Tower. The tower is a seven-level dense eaves tower with a square bluestone tower under it. The bottom of the tower is 9.5 meters in diameter and the height of the tower is 33 meters. It is the only stone pagoda in Guizhou that has been listed in the Atlas of China Ancient Pagoda. From 65438 to 0999, Qiannan Prefecture and duyun city expropriated 85 mu of land around the tower to build Wenfeng Garden with the tower as its theme.

Wenfeng Garden adopts the traditional gardening techniques of China, with Wenfeng Tower as the main scene and divided into several scenic spots, which are independent and harmonious as a whole. Wenfeng Garden is an open park with two entrances, west and north. The west is 300 meters away from the railway station. There is Wenfeng Bridge in the north, which is connected with the urban area. There is a boulder at the entrance to the west, weighing about 50 tons, which has been transported from the snail shell mountain to the west of Duyun all the year round. It is called "Marble", and the word "Wenfeng Garden" on the stone wall was inscribed by Tian Jiyun, vice chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC), and the font is saturated. There are simple and elegant Changshou Pavilion, Xianghe Gate with strong national characteristics, open-air song and dance square with antique Roman style columns, and cartoon pigeon garden. The tower is surrounded by a flat square paved with bricks. The park is lush with flowers and birds, and trees modeling is elegant, with a greening rate of over 80%.
