How to apply for organic rice certification?

Units and individuals that produce and process organic products or their agents (hereinafter referred to as applicants) may voluntarily apply for organic product certification to organic product certification bodies. Specific measures are:

(1) The applicant submits a formal application to the sub-center, obtains an application form for organic food certification, and pays the application fee.

(2) The applicant fills in the application form for organic food certification, and receives the questionnaire for organic food certification and the list of written materials for organic food certification.

(3) The applicant shall establish the enterprise's quality management system, technical measures of quality assurance system and quality information tracking and processing system as required.

(4) Sub-centers pre-examine the applicants, and the sub-centers that pass the pre-examination send relevant materials to the certification center.

(5) The certification center estimates the inspection time according to the items provided by the sub-center, and makes a preliminary inspection plan and estimates the certification fee according to the inspection time and the detailed rules for the management of certification fees. The certification center sends the acceptance notice and inspection contract to the enterprise, and informs the sub-center at the same time.

(6) Sign an organic food certification and inspection contract. After confirming the acceptance notice, the applicant signs an inspection contract with the certification center, pays 50% of the relevant expenses, and appoints an internal inspector (production and processing 1) to cooperate with the certification work and further prepare relevant materials. All materials should be copied to the sub-center, a written document and an electronic document.

(7) The sub-center conducts a comprehensive review of the applicant and his materials, and sends a copy of the review opinions and all the materials of the applicant to the certification center, which will review and decide when to conduct the review.

(8) After all the materials have passed the examination, the Certification Center will send qualified inspectors to conduct on-site inspection and evaluation on the applicant's quality management system, production process control system, tracking system, country of origin, production, processing, warehousing, transportation and trade, and prepare an inspection report and send it to the Certification Center.

(9) The Certification Center conducts a comprehensive review, prepares a certification evaluation form, puts forward evaluation opinions, and submits them to the Technical Committee for deliberation. After comprehensive review, make a decision on approval of certification, conditional certification, organic transformation certification or rejection of certification. According to the requirements of the certificate and the Management Rules for the Use of Organic Food Marks, sign a license contract for the use of organic food marks and go through the formalities for the use of organic food trademarks. The certificate is valid for 1 year.
