On the negative side, psychic Baoyu is a double-edged sword, like the spell of Journey to the West. The psychic Baoyu and hooping spells symbolize the fate of life. Everyone is born with inevitable natural desires and social burdens, which inevitably constitute the burden, oppression, bondage and shackles of life, resulting in all kinds of troubles, pains and pressures.
Only lovers endowed with good and evil can realize that "everything is illusory" and go against it. Baoyu is disrespectful to the psychic Baoyu and always breaks the jade, which not only shows his resistance to the golden destiny, but also reflects Baochai's rebellious spirit. That is, pursuing freedom, true feelings, ideals and beliefs, resisting fate, secular social values and their rules of fame and fortune, and resisting various social oppression. The reason why Baodai's love can be rock-solid until death do us part is precisely because of this rebellious spirit of youth.
However, this rebellious road that deviates from the secular world is more difficult and faces more tests. Spiritual Baoyu is imposed by natural fate and social rules.
