1. Failure to close the case after calling the police may lead to legal consequences. Specifically, once the two parties involved reach a settlement in private after the alarm, the police will ask for a settlement agreement, and both parties should confirm and sign the agreement. If the agreement involves compensation, they need to pay a deposit or security deposit, or go to the police station to make up after handling it. If one or both parties violate the agreement and fail to perform the compensation, apology and other matters agreed in the agreement, it will be regarded as a breach of contract and the agreement will be invalid;
2. If the case is not closed after reporting the case, the two parties may continue to have disputes, and even new legal disputes may arise. Once an agreement is reached, if both parties fail to implement the agreement, they may be sued again by the other party and bring any legal proceedings related to the incident. For example, the person who was beaten reached an agreement privately to compensate for some economic losses, but the person who was beaten still felt that the injury was too heavy, and he could pursue the responsibility of the hitter through legal channels and demand more economic losses;
3. If the case is not closed after the alarm, it needs to be closed in accordance with relevant regulations. If the two parties fail to fulfill the private agreement or the agreement is invalid, they must go to the police station or the court to cancel the agreement and demand to restart the investigation and judicial procedures of the public security department. Before closing the case, relevant evidence must be fully prepared, and your testimony and the testimony of the other party must confirm each other, support closing the case, and avoid contradictions and information confusion. And ask lawyers with legal professional qualifications to help prepare and process the corresponding materials, so as to get the best results when closing the case;
4. In short, when the case is not closed after reporting the case, we must rationally understand all kinds of legal consequences and take appropriate measures in time. This may include compensation, apology, or asking the police to control the other party's behavior at the same time, or even pursuing the responsibility through legal channels. If you don't know how to deal with related matters, you'd better consult a lawyer.
