Main responsibilities:

(2) To undertake the grass-roots party organizations in the education system, team building in party member and trade union work.
(3) to guide the ideology of the school and the propaganda and education work of the party, and to guide and supervise the implementation of the party's United front principles and policies in the school.
(4) according to the cadre management authority, assist the municipal party committee to do a good job in the management of the school leadership and leading personnel. Guide the construction of school cadres.
(five) to be responsible for the ideological and political work of students and teachers at all levels and schools, and to guide the construction of ideological and political work teams in schools and the education and teaching of moral education courses in primary and secondary schools.
(6) Overall management of talent work in the education system.
(7) Responsible for the safety and stability of the education system and the comprehensive management of the campus and surrounding areas.
(eight) to formulate policies and plans for the reform and development of education in the city, draft educational normative documents and organize their implementation.
(9) To be responsible for the overall planning and coordinated management of all kinds of education at all levels, organize and implement the setting standards of all kinds of schools at all levels in conjunction with relevant departments, guide the education and teaching reform of secondary and lower schools, and be responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of basic education information.
