1. The cruiser Chongqing was originally a light cruiser "Leona" (HMS Aurora 12? ), in World War II, the ship was damaged by lightning off the Mediterranean port of Tripoli (194 1) and was later repaired.

Deng Zhaoxiang, the captain of the ship, led 574 officers and men to join the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy in Wusongkou, Shanghai, and sailed northward to Yantai, Shandong, controlled by the China People's Liberation Army.
