How to shoot fireworks

First, the white balance uses sunlight, and the color of flame flowers is the most beautiful. Usually, automatic white balance is not used, and other white balances can be selected, but daylight is basically used.

Second, the ISO value of sensitivity should be as low as possible. When shooting fireworks, the clouds reflect the light or the surrounding light, and it is easy to cause white brilliance when overlapping with the flame flowers.

Third, exposure control, there are two commonly used parameter combinations: F8+ISO200 ++ aperture F 1 1, ISO 100 ++ aperture. The aperture value of the above combination is adjusted within 1. Other conditions vary according to the ambient lighting and fireworks at that time. Shutter speed is about 4 seconds, from 2 seconds to 8 seconds, which is the easiest to get good results. Don't choose places where the fireworks are too short and too low when composing music. Too long is not good, it is easy to overlap with the fireworks below.

Fourth, focus mode selection, manual focus with MF, it doesn't matter if you shoot casually, but if you want to shoot well, automatic AF is not desirable. Wide-angle lenses and general lenses are mostly infinitely focused, but in terms of composition, they need to be cut later.

Finally, choose the right place to set off fireworks. Large-scale fireworks in the city have too much overlap and white smoke, and the height is low, so it is difficult to shoot. Riverside, or seaside, because of the sea breeze, is more suitable.
