/kloc-Can't children under 0/4 sit in the front row?

1) It is difficult for children to bear the huge impact brought by airbag deployment. The impact force generated at the moment of airbag deployment is as high as 1 kN, which will cause serious harm to children. According to the statistics of the United States 1999, most of the 150 people who died due to airbag deployment were children.

2) The automobile three-point seat belt is specially designed for adults and not suitable for children.

How to use seat belts correctly when children ride?

Children should use child safety seats as much as possible when riding. Only children with a height of 145cm and a weight of more than 36kg can use the adult seat belt equipped in the car.

The back seat of a car is safer for children than the front seat. The rear middle seat is the best place to install the child safety seat. Older children (usually not less than 7-8 years old) should use a raised seat cushion if they want to use a three-point seat belt.

Seat belts can only be used by one person, and two children should not be allowed to use seat belts just because they are young, otherwise both of them will be injured in the collision. The shoulder strap of the seat belt should pass through the shoulder and chest of the child, not through the child's neck, nor under or behind the child's arm.

The tightness of the seat belt should also be adjusted appropriately. The best tightness is that only one finger can slip between the seat belt and the child's chest.

For seats without a three-point seat belt, be sure to fasten the waist seat belt. The waist safety belt should be fastened tightly under the femur.

What harm does a collision accident easily cause to children?

1) In the event of a collision accident without any constraint, the child's body will rush forward due to inertia, which may lead to violent collision in the head, waist and other parts of the carriage, causing serious injuries.

2) When wearing a car seat belt, it may cause serious injury because the seat belt is not suitable for children.
