Founded in September, 20001,North Software Institute is a provincial-level demonstration software institute jointly established by Shenyang Gewei Software Co., Ltd. and Shenyang Institute of Aeronautical Technology and approved by Liaoning Provincial Department of Education. The computer application specialty group of our college was approved as a provincial-level high-level characteristic specialty group (in which the computer application specialty is a provincial-level demonstration specialty), and the production-learning practice base of the two-in-one specialty group was selected as one of the top 100 "internet plus" actions in China. At the beginning of 2008, Shenyang Municipal People's Government, Shenbei New District People's Government and Shenyang Gewei Software Co., Ltd. jointly organized and implemented the construction project of Beiruan New Campus. This college project is located at No.53 Shenbei Road, Shenbei New District, Shenyang, with a total investment of 450 million yuan and an area of 524 mu. The campus infrastructure is completed in three phases: the first phase has completed a construction area of 67,085 ㎡, including: student apartment 1 #, 2 # (22180m2), comprehensive teaching building (27,808m2), canteen and university student service center (11797). The second phase completed a construction area of 37,400 ㎡, including library15,200 ㎡, multi-functional gymnasium, student apartment16,000 ㎡; The construction area of Phase III is about 39,900 ㎡.
