I. Responsibilities of the Bureau of Statistics

Under the leadership of the county government, jointly with the relevant departments, organize a large-scale investigation of the county's situation and strength;
Collect, sort out and provide the basic statistical data of the county, conduct statistical investigation, statistical analysis, statistical prediction and statistical supervision on the national economy, social development and scientific and technological progress, and provide timely advice to the county party committee, county government and other relevant departments;
To publicize and implement statistical laws and regulations, organize statistical law enforcement inspection, and investigate and deal with statistical illegal cases;
Provide statistical data for county-level government assessment;
To examine and approve and guide the statistical investigation plans, investigation schemes and statistical questionnaires formulated by various departments of the county;
Check, review, approve, manage, publish and publish the basic statistical data of the county, and regularly publish statistical bulletins on the national economic and social development of the county;
Establish and manage county-level statistical information automation systems and statistical databases;
Organize the continuing education and statistical professional knowledge training of statistical cadres in the county;
Accept the consultation of users of statistical information inside and outside the county and undertake the task of entrusted statistical investigation;
To undertake other tasks assigned by the county government.

Article 1 These Regulations are formulated in accordance with the Statistics Law of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the Statistics Law).

Article 4 The local people's governments, statistical agencies of the people's governments at or above the county level and relevant departments shall, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state, define the responsible subjects for preventing and punishing statistical fraud and fraud, and strictly implement the provisions of the Statistics Law and these Regulations.
Local people's governments, statistical agencies of people's governments at or above the county level and relevant departments and their responsible persons shall ensure that statistical activities are carried out in accordance with the law, and shall not infringe upon the rights of statistical agencies and statisticians to independently exercise statistical investigations, statistical reports and statistical supervision according to law, and shall not illegally interfere with the statistical data provided by statistical investigation objects or forge statistical data.
Statistical survey objects shall provide statistical data in a true, accurate, complete and timely manner in accordance with the Statistics Law and relevant state regulations, and refuse or resist illegal acts such as fraud.
Fifth statistical agencies and relevant departments of the people's governments at or above the county level shall not organize the implementation of profit-making statistical surveys.
The state plans to promote statistical agencies and relevant departments of the people's governments at or above the county level to organize statistical surveys and data development by purchasing services from the society.
