Radio frequency identification (RFID) technology is a new type of automatic identification technology gradually emerging in the 1990s, which has greatly promoted the development of the information society and gained wide attention and application from all walks of life. In recent years, the archives department is also actively exploring and applying RFID technology to improve the level of archives management, and has achieved good results and experience. Based on the systematic introduction of RFID technology and its application in archives management, this paper puts forward the popularization of RFID technology in geological data management informatization.

RFID technology, geological data management informationization

Geological data is the main manifestation of geological work and the main carrier of geological work serving the society. This is an important national archives. The safety and socialized service of geological data is the eternal theme of geological data management. In particular, "the State Council's Decision on Strengthening Geological Work" puts forward "establishing and improving the system of geological data information sharing and socialized service, accelerating the use of modern information technology, and building a national geological data center", which puts forward higher requirements for geological data management. Under the background of the rapid expansion of the quantity, variety and information of geological data, how to effectively use modern information technology and do well the socialized service of geological data has become the top priority of geological data management on the premise of ensuring the safety of national geological data.

The application of RFID technology began in the military warehouse management system during World War II. Since 1990s, RFID has been widely used in industrial automation, commercial automation, transportation control management, logistics distribution and warehousing management, document tracking management, library management and other fields. In recent years, RFID technology has also become a research hotspot in the field of archives at home and abroad, and its application in the safety management of archival entities has also achieved satisfactory results. As an "electronic tag" that can gradually replace bar code, it will become one of the most promising application technologies in the 2 1 century. In this context, we will introduce RFID technology and its application, and analyze the application advantages of RFID technology in geological data management.

1overview of RFID technology

Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a non-contact automatic identification technology, which uses radio frequency signals and their spatial coupling and transmission characteristics to realize the automatic identification and data exchange of static or moving objects [1]. The most obvious feature of RFID system is non-contact identification, and its identification distance can range from tens of centimeters to several meters or even more. Commonly known as electronic tags, smart tags, radio frequency tags, radio frequency cards, transponders and so on.

Generally, RFID system consists of RFID tag, RFID reader, antenna and computer management system.

Tag (radio frequency card): It consists of coupling element, chip and built-in antenna. It is used to store the information of the loaded items and can communicate with the RF antenna. The electronic tag is attached to the surface of the recognized object, and the electronic code with a unique agreed format is stored in the electronic tag, and the information stored in the tag chip can be read or rewritten at any time. In addition, it also has the advantages of waterproof, antimagnetic, high temperature resistance, small size, long life, large capacity, encrypted data storage, batch reading and so on.

Reader: Also known as reader, it is a device responsible for reading or rewriting electronic notes. It uses radio frequency signals to identify tags, and completes the identification, operation and control of electronic tags together with computer data management system. Readers include handheld readers and fixed readers.

Antenna: It can release radio signals to excite RFID tags, read and write tags, and transmit radio signals between tags and readers. It can be built into a reader and become a handheld device and a large fixed device; It can also be connected with the antenna interface of the reader through coaxial cable.

Management system: The computer management system is connected with the reader, which mainly completes the storage, management and control of data information.

The working principle of RFID: the reader sends out a radio frequency query signal with a certain frequency through the transmitting antenna, and when the electronic tag enters the working area of the transmitting antenna, it generates an induced current, and the energy obtained by the tag is activated and automatically generates coded information, which is sent out through the transmitting antenna built in the card; The system receives the carrier signal sent by the RF card through the antenna and sends it to the card reader through the antenna regulator. The reader mediates and decodes the received signal, and then sends it to the background management system through the computer host for corresponding processing.

It can be seen that RFID technology is a comprehensive technology integrating coding, carrier, identification and communication, and it is an advanced identification technology. It has incomparable advantages over bar code identification technology and has broad development prospects.

2 RFID technology in the file management application background

After Shaoxing Archives Bureau successfully applied RFID technology in the national archives system [2], RFID technology was introduced into the archives management of ocean, movies, real estate, universities, physical objects and so on. , and has achieved good application results in the safety management of physical files, which has played a very good role in promoting the management of marine physical files, specifically in the following aspects.

2. The application of1RFID technology in the security management of entity files

Shaoxing Archives is a representative archives where RFID technology has been successfully applied to the safety management of entity archives. As a national first-class archives, Shaoxing Archives has reached a certain level of informationization and intelligence in archives management. However, under the background that the collection of physical files has reached 420,000 volumes, rare files are gradually increasing, and the demand for the safety management of archival entities is more prominent, Shaoxing Museum actively explores the application of RFID technology to the intelligent management of physical files in the collection, and fully develops and utilizes the functions of UHF RFID technology in real-time positioning and tracking, EAS, data security, multi-tag reading and so on. Through the use of electronic tags, intelligent retrieval and network technology, a set of security intelligent management solutions integrating RFID and other advanced technologies is tailored for the storage and utilization of archives. The whole intelligent management runs through the whole process of file storage, tracking, query, file transfer, inventory and statistics, and realizes the functions of efficient disk storage, dislocation search, automatic access control, file physical location and tracking, and various data summary and statistics. The management system has been successfully applied to the special collection of Shaoxing archives and achieved good practical application results [2].

2.2 Application of RFID technology in the safety management of marine physical archives

In the construction of digital archives, file management software can associate the file catalogue with the text files processed by scanning technology, which solves the problems of fast retrieval and remote access of files, but it does not change the information management of files, especially the file management of marine objects. The application of RFID technology has greatly promoted the informatization construction of marine physical archives.

(1) As long as the file user holds the reader, he can know the information of the physical file in front of him in detail (for example, the physical file can be copied to fishing latitude and longitude, fishing depth and even pictures, etc. ) and use it as needed. Through the combination of self-processing ability of RFID tag and file application system, file users can search file information through search engine, and can assist editing and research to improve the utilization rate of files.

(2) Through RFID technology, the location and tracking of marine archives can be realized, and the archive entities can be provided to users at the fastest speed. Real-time monitoring of the storage, handling, borrowing, storage and shelving of archives can not only improve the degree of automation, but also reduce the error rate, increase the security of archives utilization and realize accurate counting and statistics of archives.

(3) Marine archives involving state secrets are specially managed by RFID technology, that is, only legal operators can access and use the extracted archives through readers, which improves the confidentiality of archives storage and utilization [3].

3 the role of RFID technology in geological data collection management

Based on the excellent technical characteristics of RFID technology and its successful application in archives management, RFID technology has greatly promoted the informatization of geological data management. The application of RFID technology in geological data management can realize the following functions.

3. 1 entity information of geological data in the unified management library

Using the characteristics of RFID tag, such as information storage, large capacity and unique coding, the reader can automatically write important information such as file-level information (file number, title, classification, formation time, formation unit, number of boxes and pieces), file-level information and damage status of each file into the tag in a unified format. For the newly stored materials, the embedded location management system can automatically allocate the location according to the actual situation of the location, and cooperate with readers to add this location information to the electronic tag of the file box (bag). In addition, with the reader RFID geological data entity management system, you can query, modify, summarize and print the geological data entity information in the collection.

3.2 Safety management of geological data utilization in collections

The location management system based on RFID technology can realize the location retrieval of geological data, which is convenient for archivists to find the location of the required data accurately. You can give an alarm prompt for the data with wrong frames to avoid the phenomenon of wrong frames. The warehouse management system of moving warehouse is based on RFID technology. When the warehouse materials pass through the fixed reader installed at the door of the warehouse, the system will automatically pop up the warehouse menu. Re-verify the outbound information, and the system will automatically complete the registration of gear transmission data after it is confirmed to be correct; When the data returns to the warehouse and passes through the fixed reader, the system will automatically verify whether the information of the returned data is consistent with that of the transferred data. If yes, the system will directly retrieve the data of the gear shift and complete the registration of returning the warehouse. In addition, with the help of RFID technology, confidential information, precious information, seriously damaged and inconvenient information can be specially managed, and only authorized information can enter and leave the warehouse, otherwise an alarm prompt will be given. The application of RFID technology can improve the safety of geological data utilization.

3.3 Inventory management of geological data in collection

Traditional inventory requires manual inventory of file boxes one by one. RFID reader has penetrating reading function, and can read multiple RFID tags at one time. When we order a library, we only need to hold a reader and scan documents, which can greatly improve the efficiency of the library.

3.4 Collection Warehouse Safety Management

Collection warehouse management is a complex work that integrates the entity management, storage management, inventory management, warehouse temperature and humidity control and warehouse "seven precautions". In order to avoid the security risks caused by human negligence, based on RFID technology, the warehouse management system can realize real-time monitoring of documents, rapid inventory, retrieval and positioning, warehouse supervision and early warning of misplacement; You can check the current environmental status of the archive room on the network terminal, such as temperature and humidity, fireworks warning, etc., and notify the corresponding person in charge in real time through the emergency notification platform to realize intelligent supervision.

4 conclusion

Although RFID technology has many advantages, there are also some problems in technology and application, such as inconsistent technical standards and high cost, which will definitely affect its promotion progress in file management. Countries and scientific research institutions all over the world are investing a lot of material and financial resources to solve these problems. However, on the whole, RF FRID technology has broad development and application prospects in the future. Under the strong market orientation, it is believed that it is just around the corner to overcome all kinds of hidden worries of FRID. The application of RFID technology will make file management tend to be simple, automatic, orderly and scientific, and will promote the improvement of the informationization level of the whole file management.
