Management and development of Jiuzhou River

In Luchuan County, before the liberation of the main stream of Jiuzhou River, wooden sailboats can reach the end of the bridge from Anpu Port, Guangdong Province, and Zhang Wan Village, a hot spring town, in the water season. After liberation, Jiuzhou River has been planned, treated and developed year by year, and 50 small and medium-sized irrigation reservoirs have been built in the basin, with rainfall interception area of 94.6438+035 square kilometers. A number of cross-Jiuzhou projects, such as government Qiaotou Dam, Zhang Wan Dam, Bridge Hongwei Gate, Datang Dam, Wushi Town Daxing Dam, Blowing Tangba, Tanmian Bridge Dam, Tian Liang Bridge Dam and Fei 'eling Bridge Dam, have been built one after another, and 28 hydraulic pump stations, electric irrigation stations and mechanical irrigation stations have been installed, increasing the irrigation area/kloc-0.5 million mu. 7 radial-flow power stations are installed, with installed capacity of 1.6 units and capacity of1.675kW..

In Bobai County, Wendi Pumping Station is built on the main stream of Jiuzhou River, which is the main water conservancy facility for irrigating farmland in Wendi Town. The theoretical reserve of hydropower in the main stream is 700 kilowatts, the exploitable capacity is 625 kilowatts, and 375 kilowatts have been developed and utilized.

After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), two large reservoirs, namely Hedi and Changqing, three medium-sized reservoirs and a number of small reservoirs, Wuling, Jiangtou and Xianrenyu, were built on the main tributaries of Jiuzhou River, which controlled the catchment area of 2,025 square kilometers to varying degrees and reduced the peak flow. The safety flow of the reach at 1985 is 2200m3/s, but the annual flood flow of1969-198/kloc-0 still exceeds this value for five times after the completion of the above reservoir, and the flood hazard still exists.

Jiuzhou River is located at the northern end of Leizhou Peninsula in Guangdong Province, and there is a serious shortage of water resources. Hedi Reservoir was built in 1959, and draws water from the upper reaches of Jiuzhou River 1440 square kilometers for Zhanjiang, Suixi, Haikang, Wuchuan and Huazhou, which greatly developed and improved the industrial and agricultural production and people's life in Leizhou Peninsula. The river regime of Jiuzhou River below Hedi Reservoir has also changed obviously, and the flow and water level of the river have dropped sharply, resulting in the phenomenon of reclamation occupying the river beach.

The area of soil erosion in Jiuzhou River Basin of Guangdong Province was 1.4 square kilometers, and 8 square kilometers had been treated before 1.980, of which 7 square kilometers had achieved remarkable results. There are six tributaries, including Shachan River, Tang Peng River and Wuling River, with a drainage area of over 100 square kilometers. Buildings built along the river increase the siltation of the river. The cross section of the main circulation crossing 1959- 1974 is silted by 0.8m, and the tributaries such as Liusha River, Tang Peng River and Lianjiang River are similar. Fertile beaches have gradually formed in Dadun Port, the mouth of Jiuzhou River, and 30,000 mu of Longyingdongwei and Longyingwei and 65,000 mu of other cultivated land have been reclaimed.

Hedi Reservoir is located in Hechun Town, northeast of Lianjiang City 14km away. The reservoir area spans Luchuan and Bobai counties in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and is located in the middle reaches of Jiuzhou River, with a drainage area of 1440 km2 and a total storage capacity of 1 15 1 100 million cubic meters. It is a large-scale comprehensive utilization that mainly focuses on irrigation and combines flood control, power generation and shipping. The designed irrigation area is 2 million mu, and the effective irrigation area is 6.5438+0.27 million mu.
