"Dad" has no traditional Chinese characters.
Modern Chinese characters are divided into three types:
Simplified Chinese characters, traditional Chinese characters, inherited Chinese characters.
Simplified characters correspond to traditional characters. Where there is simplification, there must be tradition; Where there is tradition, there is simplification.
Inherited words are written in the past, not simplified words. This should be the majority of Chinese characters. Such as "dad, I, yes, all, micro, smile" and so on.
