Brief introduction of Tianjin Communications Vocational College;
Tianjin Communications Vocational and Technical College, located in Tianjin, opened on 1953. In March 2002, with the approval of the Tianjin Municipal People's Government, four schools directly under the former Tianjin Municipal Transportation Bureau were integrated to form Tianjin Communications Vocational College, which is affiliated to Tianjin Communications (Group) Co., Ltd. ..
In April 2023, official website showed that the school offered 37 majors in seven categories, including transportation, finance and trade, equipment manufacturing, resources, environment and safety.
Since the establishment of the college, the party and government team of the college has adhered to the school motto of "running a school with characteristics, serving the society, pioneering and innovating", taking "every day is a masterpiece" as the school motto, taking "respecting teachers and teaching by example" as the teaching style, and taking "erudition and perseverance, asking and thinking" as the study style. The connotation construction has been gradually deepened, and the quality of running schools has been continuously improved, which has trained high-quality skilled talents for the society.
After six years of development and construction, the college has developed into a full-time higher vocational college with regional economy as its main service object. The college has hosted the Tianjin Automobile Maintenance Worker Skills Competition and the Tianjin Vocational College Logistics and Automobile Maintenance Skills Competition for many times. In 2008, it was listed as the competition point of the National Vocational College Skills Competition by the Ministry of Education.
The college always adheres to the employment orientation, takes the specialty construction as the leading factor, takes the school-enterprise cooperation and the combination of work and study as the platform, and innovates the talent training mode of "high integration of learning and occupation".
