Xi Martyrs Cemetery was established in March, 1952. Located in the south section of Hanguang Road in the southern suburbs of Xi, it is adjacent to Mingdemen in the east and Electronic City in the west, about five kilometers away from the city center. According to Article 3 of the Regulations on the Praise of Martyrs in People's Republic of China (PRC), under any of the following circumstances, it is approved as a revolutionary martyr:
(a) Being killed or injured in the battle against the enemy and then being injured and dying;
(2) He died of recurrent wounds shortly after being disabled by fighting against the enemy;
(3) Sacrificing as a guide at the front line, building fortifications, rescuing the wounded, carrying out transportation and other combat readiness tasks, or sacrificing in guarding key targets in a war zone;
