How to master the stocking density of shrimp fry?

To determine the stocking density of shrimp fry, we should first determine the reasonable production index (output per unit area and specifications of commercial shrimp) according to the area, water depth, water exchange conditions, quality and quantity of bait, management measures and economic market information prediction, and accurately predict the breeding survival rate according to the quality and specifications of shrimp fry, referring to the experience over the years and the proposed production conditions in the current year.

The stocking density of shrimp fry should be adjusted according to the following conditions:

(1) There are fewer shrimps and more shrimps.

(2) More water should be drained in deep pools and less in shallow pools.

(3) There are many water changing conditions and few water changing conditions.

(4) The quality of bait is high, but poor.

(5) Put more fine ponds and less coarse ponds.

(6) Put more aerators and less aerators.

(7) There are fewer large-sized shrimps and more small-sized shrimps.

(8) Put more fish when harmful, and less fish when harmful.

(9) Put more shrimps when they are ill, and put less shrimps when they are seriously ill. According to the above principle, at present, there are 4000-5000 plants (1cm) per 667m 2 in large-scale coarse culture ponds, 8000- 10000 plants in semi-intensive culture ponds and 30000-50000 plants in intensive culture ponds with aerators. After temporary rearing, the amount of large seedlings (3 cm) can be reduced by 30% ~ 50%. Shrimp ponds in artificial ecosystems can be appropriately reduced according to pond conditions.
