Inquire about the public service platform of the port of shipment shown in the bill of lading (if any, it is generally available at Dagang Port).
Look at the name of the carrier shown on the bill of lading (UCP600 stipulates that the bill of lading must indicate the name of the carrier, but many bills of lading do not meet this requirement). On the carrier (shipping company) official website, use one of the information such as bill of lading number, ship name, container number and booking contract number to make an inquiry.
As the carrier cannot be determined in 2, you can use the container number of official website and the shipping company to which the name of the ship shown on the bill of lading belongs.
If you can't or don't know the name of the ship, you can check the container company or the rented company and make an inquiry in official website (this is a general inquiry method, but most people don't have this technology).
The simplest way is to look at the contact information of the agent in the port of destination indicated on the bill of lading and consult the agent according to the contact information. If you don't have the contact information of the relevant agent, you can ask the shipper's freight forwarder at the loading port.
