Thinking about working in Sisif for one month

After finishing graduate school, I entered a state-owned enterprise, stayed for a year and left. I've always wanted to open a bookstore.

Once I went shopping and came to a bookstore. From the outside, the color scheme of red and black makes people shine, which reveals a fairy-tale romance invisibly. The light inside is very soft, there are not many customers, but it is not noisy.

I remember its name-Sisyphus. I submitted my resume online, but I didn't expect to be hired in the end.

On the first day of reporting, I was a little nervous. Fortunately, the manager was very friendly and told me a lot about the store. Finally, he decided to let me stay in the children's area for a while, saying that the children's area could get a commission. In fact, I don't care about any commission, I just want to learn something seriously.

To tell the truth, I am very tired in the children's area. Children are curious and like to keep them around. I often have a headache for messy bookshelves and occasionally complain.

When cleaning in the morning, I always wipe every place carefully. Colleagues secretly told me not to be too serious, almost enough. But I know very well what I should do if this is my bookstore.

At first, I would only do some relatively low-level work, such as cleaning, such as sorting out shelves and putting books back. When I get to the book and get off the shelf, I'm always a little scared, because I'm too slow to find books and I'm afraid my colleagues will laugh.

In this way, time passed day by day, and I stayed in Sisyphus to the fullest. This kind of happiness has never been seen by state-owned enterprises before.

Later, I chatted with the manager. When she learned that I was a graduate student, she couldn't help but say in surprise, "Then why are you here?"

"I don't like my previous job and want to do what I like." I answered frankly.

After the manager understands my idea, he plans to promote me to be the marketing director.

However, a month later, I left my job for some reasons, although my heart was full of sadness and disappointment.

But this short experience will never be forgotten by me. In fact, I have been able to write books skillfully and even design themed bookshelves. I believe these will be of great help to my future career.

I believe in dreams, and I believe I can do it one day.
