The establishment of the detention center not only gives stray dogs a place to live, but also makes more people realize that adoption is used instead of buying and selling, and also contributes to the creation of a civilized city. Huhhot Lanhada Charity Association was selected as a non-governmental charity organization connected with the dog detention center. The two sides hope to build a bridge for stray dog adoption and rescue cooperation through a series of activities.
The stray dogs in the dog reception center are open to the whole city for free adoption, and preferential policies such as free dog license and free annual inspection are given. The main conditions for adoption are 18 years of age and above, having a proper occupation and economic ability, having a local hukou in Hohhot, signing an "unmanned dog adoption agreement" with the public security organ, and sending the ownerless dog from the dog detention center.
