What are the employment directions of management science and engineering in the School of Information Management?

Then look at the employment direction of management science and engineering. The three directions are different.

The main employment industries or departments of engineering management major are: government construction departments, banks, universities, real estate development companies, engineering construction units, engineering design units, engineering consulting companies, engineering supervision companies, engineering construction companies, etc.

Information management and information system majors are mainly engaged in computer network management, information management, information system analysis, design, implementation management and evaluation in state management departments, industrial and commercial enterprises, financial institutions and scientific research units.

E-commerce professional employment departments mainly include companies, government agencies, institutions, financial and securities institutions, intermediaries and so on.

It looks beautiful, but what is the reality? First of all, there are almost 100 students in the two classes, and no one has found a job in this field. Even when they took part in the recruitment, they encountered many recruitment for computer major (except management) or economic management major (except management). Do you feel depressed?

See graduate students: The reporter learned from the relevant departments of Jiangsu Province yesterday that there will be more than 350,000 college graduates in 2007, an increase of about 22% over last year's 286,000.

A few days ago, the provincial college enrollment and employment guidance service center analyzed the employment situation of college graduates in 2006, and found that the employment rate of higher vocational colleges majoring in engineering was generally above 80%, while the employment rate of 30 colleges was below 50%.

In 2006, the graduate employment rate was 4.87 percentage points higher than the average employment rate, but some non-applied graduates began to find employment difficulties. For example, the employment rate of management science and engineering majors is only 45.47%, the lowest for three consecutive years. This year, the employment rate of college (higher vocational) graduates is 2.48 percentage points higher than the average employment rate, especially in higher vocational colleges with engineering majors, which are generally above 80%. Colleges with low employment rate are mainly concentrated in normal colleges and some private colleges. Third, more and more graduates are willing to work at the grassroots level. So far, the number of college graduates employed at the grassroots level in the province accounts for 65.29% of the total employment; At the same time, the concept of "employment first, then choosing a job, then starting a business" has gradually been accepted by graduates. Enterprises, especially non-public economic organizations, have become the main channels for graduates' employment. This year, the proportion of graduates employed in various enterprises is as high as 70. 17%, of which 88.83% graduates went to non-public economic organizations.

Seeing this, students majoring in management science and engineering may be psychologically cold, but we must have firm confidence that the major is good, but the employment form is there, and we have to admit that it is difficult to find employment, but we can't fully believe these data. At present, the demand of college students in China has not reached saturation, and the reason why some people can't find jobs is largely because they are not satisfied with their jobs. If you put yourself in a high position when you graduate, feel superior, take a job with a monthly salary of less than 2,000 as an insult to yourself, or ask famous enterprises, state-owned enterprises and foreign companies, then you are likely to be disappointed. In fact, only after graduation can we know that the knowledge just graduated from college students can be applied to practice, and many things need to be learned in practical work.

Moreover, this so-called statistical method of employment rate is also debatable. Just like the employment rate of our school, some majors are not very high, but how many students in your class eat their parents' food at home? Everyone has a job.

Undergraduate students are still like this, let alone graduate students, so as long as we have a correct attitude, there is no major that cannot find a job.
