Self-improvement is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation, and Hongyi is the lofty pursuit of countless people with lofty ideals in history, which should be used as training for the achievement of the cause.
"Virtue": from Zhouyi, "The terrain is vast, and a gentleman carries things with virtue". Being broad-minded, virtuous and noble is called virtue.
"Sincerity": from The Doctrine of the Mean, "Self-sincerity is the nature; Self-knowledge and sincerity are called teaching. Honesty is clear, and Ming is sincere. " Wise and sincere, honesty-oriented.
Virtue means that teachers and students should focus on building noble character and developing good conduct in their work, study and life, and regard it as the primary condition for being a man and doing things. Sincerity means sincerity, honesty and integrity, which is the most fundamental moral principle and the way to success in life.
School spirit: knowing and doing speak louder than words.
In the third year of Emperor Wu of Ming Dynasty (1508), Wang Shouren, a psychologist, gave a lecture at Guiyang Institute of Civilization, and put forward the theory of the unity of knowledge and action for the first time.
