The purpose of Operation Sunglow

Education in poor areas is backward.

In Chongqing, the backwardness of education in ethnic minority areas is worrying, while there are more ethnic minority areas in Sichuan, and the education situation is even less optimistic. The data shows that ethnic minority areas account for more than 70% of the backward areas in education. Although with the support of the government, the educational hardware facilities have been obviously improved, the multimedia education and software construction have not been obviously improved: the total number of teachers is insufficient, the ability is low, the team is unstable, and the curriculum is imperfect and unscientific, which seriously hinders the development of local education.

The disadvantages of current college teaching

Every year, a considerable number of teaching teams in colleges and universities go deep into poverty-stricken areas to support local primary and secondary education, among which there are many successful models. However, as far as the actual situation is concerned, although practical teaching is widely implemented among college students, the practice has been implemented for a short time and with little strength. Short-term and disadvantaged college students' teaching practice is not helpful to the development of local education, and even increases the burden on local schools.

Teaching alliance came into being.

In order to organize college students' teaching activities, we decided to set up the "Sunglow Action" teaching alliance. This is a large-scale college students' joint public welfare activity with the main purpose of school informatization in backward areas and the auxiliary purpose of multi-person mid-term teaching. The participation of all schools has greatly enhanced the strength of Operation Sunglow. At the same time, unite all possible college students' strength, and with the guidance of relevant departments, the help of caring enterprises and the help of social people, carry out public welfare activities in backward areas regularly and purposefully for a long time, so that college students' strength can make tangible contributions to public welfare undertakings.
