During the Ming and Qing dynasties, nobles, scholars and celebrities gathered here, and now the incense is flourishing, attracting many believers and tourists. This temple is called Anfu Temple.
Anfu Temple was built in the third year of Yuanhe in Tang Xianzong (AD 808). It has always been a Buddhist resort with a pure Taoist style. In history, more than 20 monks lived in the Dojo, promoted Buddhism, dealt with diseases and medicines in various ways, and transformed countless people. Only in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, monks such as Mingzhen and Dexin were stationed here.
The temple is located in Wencheng Tiansheng Mountain, which is built by the mountain and has an elegant environment. There are dozens of original mountain gates, King Kong Hall, Daxiong Hall, Sifang Hall, Monk Room and Xuanfang Room.
There are many Mo Bao in the original temple, such as couplets, plaques, inscriptions by famous people in past dynasties, etc. In the first year of Jingtai in the Ming Dynasty (1450), He You, the left assistant minister of the official department, wrote a couplet, which was inscribed by the emperor shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty. During the Qianlong period, he wrote a gold tablet of Ci Zong in Jiuling, Deng Gong, qingtian county. Now it is the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, and it is well preserved.
The buildings in the temple are also very beautiful. Even if you are not a believer, you are not here to pay tribute and pray. It is enough just to appreciate the beauty of the architecture here and taste the historical details of the pharmacist Dojo.
So why is it called "Oriental Pharmacist Dojo"? The apothecary Dojo is a Buddha to eliminate disasters and prolong life. Pharmacist Buddha, whose full name is' Pharmacist Buddha for Eliminating Disasters and Prolonging Life', is the founder of the Oriental Pure Land-Oriental Pure Glass World. In order to help all living beings to relieve suffering, eliminate disasters and take refuge, prolong life and achieve career, his belief has prevailed since ancient times.
The four famous Buddhist mountains in China are the Dojo of the deeds of the four Bodhisattvas, and the pharmacist Buddha who can eliminate disasters and prolong life will be turned into a natural mountain in wencheng county, Zhejiang Province. The reason for this great event is truly remarkable and effective.
Originated from 1942 Wenzhou plague. Seven-year-old Yu Shu took refuge in Anfu Temple with her grandmother. At that time, the old monk in the temple, known as the pharmacist monk, went up the mountain every day to collect medicine for him to drink and saved his life. It can be said that the pharmacist showed his spirit and helped the world with compassion.

He thanked the pharmacist monk of Anfu Temple for saving his life and vowed to be the main sponsor of rebuilding Anfu Temple. After visiting Anfu Temple in Wencheng, Zhejiang, I was deeply impressed by such a beautiful environment and could not help but sigh. The winding path here is secluded, and the water is clear and the stone is bright. It is actually a sacred place for Buddhist worship and a treasure house for Zen practice.
