Jiangsu Institute of Technology is located in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, an ancient historical and cultural city in the south of the Yangtze River and the beautiful and rich hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta. Jiangsu Institute of Technology, formerly known as Changzhou Vocational Teachers College, was founded in August 1984 and enrolled in September 1985. 19871February was renamed Changzhou Technical Teachers College with the approval of the State Education Commission. Undergraduate course 1988 started enrolling students in September. In August of 20001year, Changzhou Economic Management Cadre School was merged into this school.
In August 2002, it was renamed Jiangsu Technical Teachers College with the approval of the Ministry of Education. From June 5438 to February 2004, Changzhou Accounting School in Jiangsu Province was merged into the school. September 20 12, began to recruit graduate students. 20 12 1 1 was renamed Jiangsu institute of technology with the approval of the Ministry of education.
Jiangsu Institute of Technology has 17 secondary teaching units, including School of Electrical Information Engineering, School of Business, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering, and School of Automobile and Traffic Engineering. There are five research institutes, such as Vocational Education Research Institute and Resource Recycling Research Institute, as well as several industry colleges, such as China Nonferrous Metals Industry Institute and CTS Hotel Management College.
