Yes, work experience is an important condition for membership. The work experience gained before, during and after taking the ACCA exam is recognized by ACCA.
What do I need to do after passing all the ACCA exams?
1.ACCA will publish the exam results of 12 in February and June every year. Every student who has passed all the ACCA exams will then receive an ACCA member or associate member application manual mailed by ACCA UK headquarters (usually in early March and early September). Everyone must apply to ACCA UK for membership or associate membership according to their own conditions, such as whether they meet the requirements of ACCA related work experience.
2.ACCA Headquarters will issue ACCA membership certificate to the students after receiving their applications, whether they are applying for membership or associate membership, to confirm that the students have successfully passed all the exams.
3. For the students who apply for membership, they are required to fill in the membership application manual truthfully, summarize the main work experience and acquired work ability recorded in STR (Student Training Record) at ordinary times, and fill in the application manual (STR may not be submitted for the time being when submitting the membership application form, but once ACCA UK headquarters informs that STR needs to be submitted, students need to make up STR again in order to learn more detailed information and complete the evaluation). ACCA UK Headquarters will evaluate the work records filled out by students and contact their supervisors for verification. After confirmation, they will be approved to become ACCA members.
