This bridge will be the first bridge in Changsha to install fully enclosed sound insulation screens. The opening of Fuyuan Road and Bridge has injected new vitality into the busy river-crossing traffic. On the Xiangjiang River within the Second Ring Road, there are two river-crossing passages under construction. On the river between Houzishi Bridge and Heishipu Bridge, Xiangjiang Bridge on Xiangfu Road has entered the main closure construction. If the weather conditions are good, it is expected to open to traffic before the Spring Festival. At the bottom of the river between Juzizhou Bridge and Houzishi Bridge, Xiangjiang Tunnel on Nanhu Road is excavated by double-line shield, and it is planned to open to traffic in the second half of next year. By the end of next year, the number of bridges and tunnels crossing Xiangjiang River in Changsha will reach 10, and there will be a river-crossing passage every 3 kilometers in the Second Ring Road.
