The College of New Technology of Hubei Engineering University is an independent college at undergraduate level. It was approved by the Hubei Provincial Department of Education in March 2003 and confirmed by the Ministry of Education in February 2004.
The school is located in Xiaogan, the satellite city of Wuhan, the hometown of Han's son, 45 kilometers away from Wuhan and 30 kilometers away from Tianhe Airport.
