Production rule
Starting from 1998, the round robin system is adopted in the group match, that is, each team plays a game with the other three teams, and the winner gets three points, the draw gets one point and the loser gets zero point.
The two teams with high scores can enter the top 16. If the scores are the same, the top 16 will be judged by the goal difference.
After the pre-16 is produced, the elimination system is adopted.
After the semi-finals are produced, they will not be eliminated.
Two winning teams compete for the championship and two losing teams compete for the third place.
