He can play not only costume dramas, but also modern dramas, and successfully created the stage artistic image of Zhong Sun in The Red Lantern and Li Shuangshuang. Yue Fei, starring him, was once filmed as a drama documentary by the Central News Film Studio, and Kou Zhun's Boots and other plays were recorded as records by Chinese record companies and other units. 1996 led the Henan Opera Troupe to perform "Daming Thunder" and won the first prize of the 6th Henan Drama Competition.
