Baicaopan Natural Scenic Area is located in Xiayunling National Forest Park, Fangshan District, Beijing, about 103 km away from Beijing. It is a comprehensive tourism and holiday natural scenic spot integrating vacation, leisure, sightseeing, exploration and conference.
The scenic spot is located in the southwest wing of Baihua Mountain syncline, and the exposed strata in the area are Neoproterozoic, Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic.
