Jilin Normal University is a key university in Jilin Province. He was selected as an excellent teacher training program reform institution of the Ministry of Education. It is a national college students' cultural quality education base, Jilin Province college students' cultural quality demonstration base, Jilin Province college students' psychological health education practice base, and China government scholarship program to study in China.
The school is located in Siping City, and currently consists of Wang Xiku, secretary of the Party Committee, and Yang, president. The school motto is "Be thirsty for knowledge, be close to knowledge and practice kindness". The school has two campuses, Siping and Changchun, covering an area of 6,543,800 square meters and a building area of 680,000 square meters.
