Why are the shaft holes at both ends of the axial flow pump impeller different?

Bear axial force, fluid inlet and outlet.

1. The impeller of axial-flow pump will be impacted and pressured by liquid when working, which will produce axial force in one or more directions. In order to ensure the stable operation of the impeller and reduce the influence of vibration and stress, the shaft holes at both ends of the impeller are usually designed differently.

2. The design of shaft holes at both ends of axial flow pump impeller is also related to the import and export of fluid. One end serves as the inlet of the fluid, and the other end serves as the outlet of the fluid, so that the fluid forms a reasonable flow path inside the impeller.
