Japanese business visa processing conditions

Short-term business visa holders are allowed to stay in Japan for a short time. The visa is valid for up to 3 months, after which they need to reapply. Applying for this kind of visa needs to aim at cultural exchange, local government exchange and sports exchange; Or go to Japan for business contacts, meetings, negotiations, signing contracts, after-sales service, publicity, market research and other activities for the purpose of business communication.

Generally speaking, Japanese companies apply Japanese business visas when issuing invitations (for example, the parent company is in Japan, setting up a company in China, sending China employees to Japan for short-term business trips, and tourist visas and long-term work visas are not within the scope of short-term business visas).

I. Application conditions

In principle, if a visa applicant meets all the following conditions, he will get a visa if he meets the requirements:

1. The applicant holds a valid passport and has the right and qualification to re-enter the country of return or residence.

2. The application materials are true and conform to the regulations.

3. The applicant's activities or identity, status and length of stay in Japan meet the requirements of entry and exit countries and refugee recognition laws.

4. The applicant does not meet any of the items 1 in Article 5 of the Immigration Law.

II. Materials required for applying for a Japanese business visa:

(a) China company and I need to provide materials:

1, photo;

2. Passport: The applicant's passport must be within the validity period;

3. A copy of the household registration book;

4. Personnel information registration form (temporary residence permit or residence permit);

(2) Invitation materials of Japanese enterprises:

In the column of inviter, the company, address, position, name and telephone number must be clearly stated, and it must be stamped (if the foreigner does not stamp, he must sign). Company groups need to affix the representative seal or company seal.

2. Physical guarantee;

If the inviter is the director of the central ministries and agencies of the Japanese government, the director of the research institute of the country's independent legal person, a university professor or an associate professor or above, it can be omitted in the official invitation (when the enterprise is used as a guarantor, the guarantor should have the management positions such as minister, department head and factory director or above).

Leave enough time to apply for a visa when booking. The general visa processing time is 9- 10 working days. The start time of holding the advance order is 10 working days after the submission date.

4. Information about the inviting unit

When invited by the state or local government, it is not required to provide it. At the invitation of professors and associate professors in research institutions with independent national legal persons or above, they can use the "Certificate of Employment" instead.

Third, the application process

1. Confirm the consulate applying for a Japanese visa;

2. The Japanese "receiving unit" applies for the payment certificate online (the website of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare), and after receiving the "payment certificate", sends the payment certificate and other Japanese materials to the applicant;

3. The applicant submits a business visa such as "proof of payment" to the Japanese embassy or consulate abroad to apply for a visa;

4. Negative certification within 72 hours before departure after obtaining the visa;

5. When entering Japan, inform the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of the health status of the "Immigrant Health Confirmation Center" through MySOS.

Legal basis:

Article 13 of the Passport Law of the People's Republic of China

In any of the following circumstances, the passport issuing organ shall not issue a passport:

(a) does not have the nationality of People's Republic of China (PRC);

(two) unable to prove identity;

(3) practicing fraud in the application process;

(4) Being sentenced to a penalty and serving a sentence;

(five) the people's court informed that there are unresolved civil cases that cannot leave the country;

(6) Being a defendant or criminal suspect in a criminal case;
