In 193, Cao Cao attacked Xuzhou, and then there was the Xuzhou Massacre, in which hundreds of thousands of people were killed. Zhuge Liang was only about fourteen years old at this time. He witnessed the ferocity of Cao Cao, had a great influence on Zhuge Liang, and then rejected Cao Cao. As a teenager, Zhuge Liang took refuge with his uncle Zhuge Xuan and later moved to Nanyang.
The Xuzhou tragedy had a great influence on Zhuge Liang. Before Zhuge Liang came out of the mountain, he even considered Liu Biao, Sun Quan and others, but for Cao Cao, the big boss in the north, it was boring.
