Tucki P7i is a mid-term modified model of Tucki P7, which was just launched last week, and the exhibition car has reached stores all over the country. The Tandian Exhibition Hall is based on a Tucki P7i top model "2023 P7i 6 10 Peng Yi Performance Edition". Although the sales volume of Peng Yimen model is not as good as that of the ordinary version, the visual effects displayed are really impressive.
From the appearance, Pengyimen model is basically the same as the ordinary version except that the front double doors are flapped, which can be used as a reference to capture all aspects of the new model. Compared with Tucki P7i, Tucki P7I has not changed much in design. The overall rounded style is accompanied by a strong sense of sports fashion, and the face value is still very good.
The change of the front part mainly lies in the redesign of the headlight position. Two laser radars are added, both of which appear on the inside of the headlight. The overall design of the headlight is slightly tilted forward compared with the headlight position. Among them, the far and near light was changed from the left and right of the old models to the up and down, and the irradiation range of the high beam increased by 20%.
Compared with some central square design, car side square design and roof watchtower design, the lidar design is more harmonious and low-key, and it is difficult to find the lidar hidden here without looking carefully. The design of double internal inclination angle is helpful to enlarge the angle of lidar scanning umbrella surface. The detection angle of single radar is 1 18 degrees, and the detection angle reaches 182 degrees when double radars work together.
From the maintenance cost, if it is a slight frontal collision, it will first hurt the transparent shell of the headlight and the black shell of the laser radar, and a stronger collision will inevitably hurt the laser radar. In terms of maintenance cost, there is no replacement cost of Tucki P7i lidar, and the replacement price of Tucki P5 lidar is about 8,000 yuan. Personally, I predict that as more and more models in the industry are equipped with lidar, the price of lidar will drop after the future demand drives the production capacity to increase, which may be one of the reasons why not all manufacturers adopt Weilaihe's ideal watchtower scheme.
The appearance color of the show car is only the star green added by Tucki P7i compared with Tucki P7I. The optional price of this color is 5000 yuan, and the actual effect is very good, with a deep visual sense and a moist metallic feeling. The combination of Star Green and Peng Yi Performance Edition is more low-key than Lightning Green played by Peng Yi moderators in the past. In fact, non-super-running brands are often difficult to control the combination of "lightning green+Peng Yimen", and the new color matching has become a more elegant and decent scheme combined with Peng Yimen.
The logo color of Xiao Peng is black and gray, belonging to two sets of 6 10 performance models. If it is a single motor 702 model, the logo color is traditional silver. All models are equipped with frameless doors and static electric suction doors, and the tailgate provides the function of inductive kicking.
The modeling movement proportion of the side of the car body is harmonious. There is almost no change in the body size of Tucki P7i, only the length of the car has increased by 8mm, presumably because of the change of the design kit, so the overall space has not changed. The trunk is a conventional sedan trunk, because the sliding back design has no real big bevel hatchback tailgate, which is as regrettable as Weilai ET7, ET5 and Mercedes-Benz EQE.
In the interior part of the car, the big change is that NAPPA seat leather is standard in the whole system, and the seat filler is made of multi-layer filling materials, and the length of the rear seat cushion is increased. There are just two models, P7 and P7i, in the exhibition hall, and you can really feel the improvement of seat comfort after riding in the back row.
The overall design of the car has not changed much, and the steering wheel has adopted a new style. Other evolutionary parts are mainly in the connotation part. For example, the car chip was upgraded from 820A in P7 to SA8 155P in Qualcomm Snapdragon, which made the car experience smoother. The hardware and software of driver assistance have also been greatly upgraded. Max model is equipped with dual Orion-X chips in addition to the standard dual lidar, and its computing power is 508TOPS. The Pro version comes standard with a single Orin-X chip and is not equipped with aurora radar. Therefore, the Max version of P7i supports Tucki XNGP, and its functional support includes urban NGP intelligent navigation assisted driving and high-speed NGP intelligent navigation assisted driving enhanced version. On the whole, the evolution from Tucki P7 to Tucki P7i mainly revolves around two aspects: further polishing of details and intelligent upgrading. There are only four configurations in this listing, which is obviously modified towards the feeling of continuous power. In the past, the complicated configuration list of P7 was like a luxury brand, and the listing of Tucki G9 also experienced twists and turns in configuration adjustment.
I also consulted the order when I visited the store. Orders for "wife" are mostly concentrated in 702 Pro, and male consumers choose between 702 Max and 6 10 performance version.
As for this pricing, the starting price of 249,900 yuan is indeed 20,000 yuan higher than that of Tesla Model 3, and this 20,000 yuan is quite weighty for the choice of consumer behavior. However, compared with Model 3, P7i does have great advantages in terms of comfort and luxury in Tucki. Zhang Bureau thinks that the consideration is reasonable. Now, Tucki needs to upgrade its luxury brands. In the long run, it is also beneficial to the sales of G9 and G6, and to the establishment of the moat of Tucki's value system, so that the new forces will not suddenly increase the sales pressure every time Tesla reduces the price.
