Xiamen Performing Arts Vocational College is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by Fujian Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education, with the qualification of independently issuing academic diplomas. In April, 2002, the college started to build in Gulangyu, a scenic spot in Xiamen, and was formally established in February, 2004 (GB code: 13767). In September 2009, the college moved to No.7 Chunbo Road, Xiang 'an District, Xiamen as a transitional campus before the new campus was officially put into use. On March 20 19, the college officially settled in Xiang' an east road 1995, Xiang' an district, Xiamen. The new campus covers an area of 200 mu, with a total planned area of about 16000 square meters. At present, the teaching area put into use in the first phase is about 70000 square meters. In addition, an experimental theater with a capacity of 1400 people was built. Since then, the college has entered a new period of leap-forward development. Since the establishment of Xiamen Vocational College of Performing Arts, the Party's educational policy and literary policy have been fully implemented. On June 20 1 1, with the approval of the Fujian Provincial Department of Education and the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, the Fujian Correspondence Station of Beijing Dance Academy was formally established in our college, offering undergraduate education for both inside and outside the province, covering dance choreography, dance performance (combining dance with teaching in China), international standard dance, musical, business administration and other majors. Xiamen Performing Arts Vocational College is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by Fujian Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education, with the qualification of independently issuing academic diplomas. The college was established in April 2002, formerly known as Xiamen Academy for Performing Arts. In February 2004, with the approval of the Fujian Provincial People's Government and the record of the Ministry of Education, Xiamen Academy for Performing Arts was officially upgraded to Xiamen Vocational College for Performing Arts, and vocational education at the junior college level was implemented. In June 2009, the college moved to Xiang 'an District, Xiamen.
