What does IEC62778 test for lamps?

IEC/TR 62778: 20 14 proposes that the blue light hazard information of the primary light source can be transmitted downwards, and the basis of transmitting the blue light hazard information to the next level products is the law of conservation of brightness and IEC/TR.

62778:20 14 is described in chapter 5.

The radiation measurement of the main light source can provide three possible results:

RG0

Unlimited: in all distances of all lamps, the main light source produces RG0 at the highest place;

RG 1

Unlimited: in all distances of all lamps, the main light source can generate rg1at the highest;

Ethr of RG2: At a certain distance, the primary light source produces RG2, and the illumination generated by lamps containing the primary light source here is higher than Ethr; At a certain distance, the main light source produces RG 1, and the illumination produced by the lamps containing the main light source is lower than that of Ethr.

Note: Blue light is unlikely to cause harm to RG3, so IEC/TR 62778: 20 14 does not cover this part.
