Technical methods and information system construction of groundwater pollution investigation and evaluation

I. Summary of contents

The project "Technical Methods and Information System Construction for Investigation and Evaluation of Groundwater Pollution" issued by China Geological Survey and undertaken by Institute of Hydrogeology and Environmental Geology of Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences aims to provide technical support for investigation and evaluation of groundwater pollution in China. The main achievements of this project are:

1. Develop sampling equipment suitable for various water sources and analysis projects that may be involved in the investigation and evaluation of groundwater pollution.

(1) A branch manifold connection assembly suitable for sampling volatile and semi-volatile organic pollutants in a large displacement submersible pump well was designed and manufactured.

(2) Auxiliary components (water outlet pipe, special coil, etc.). ) "Special Sampling Submersible Pump" (adjustable flow, suitable for small disturbance cleaning of accumulated water in borehole).

(3) A pneumatic slow-release sampler suitable for the analysis and sampling of volatile organic compounds in deep water (surface water and groundwater) was developed. The sampler does not need power supply and does not exhaust gas in water. By controlling the air pressure in the sampler cavity, water samples can be smoothly injected into the sampler cavity without aeration, which is especially suitable for the collection of volatile and semi-volatile organic pollutants in surface deep water.

(4) Developed the original bottle fixed depth sampler which is suitable for sampling surface water and large mouth wells and can avoid pollution to the maximum extent. The designed solenoid valve is made of PTFE or metal components with PTFE coating, which can collect samples of various analysis items.

(5) A suction pump sampling device suitable for stagnant water cleaning and volatile organic compounds sampling in small-diameter pumping wells (especially pressure wells) is developed.

(6) An on-line filtering device suitable for sampling volatile organic compounds and various analysis items was developed. Among them, stainless steel plate filter is suitable for online filtration of organic analysis water samples with glass fiber filter membrane, PTFE filter device is suitable for filtration of water samples of various analysis projects, and plate filter with peristaltic pump (special rubber tube lined with PTFE) can complete on-site filtration of surface water organic analysis samples.

2. The technical requirements for the collection and preservation of groundwater organic pollution samples are compiled.

According to the types of groundwater sampling wells and surface water sampling points involved in the groundwater pollution investigation and evaluation project, the technical requirements for water sample collection and preservation for groundwater pollution investigation and evaluation were compiled.

3. Put forward a set of comprehensive evaluation index system of groundwater quality and pollution and groundwater pollution risk evaluation method.

In order to solve the problem that a large number of organic indexes need to be evaluated in the current groundwater pollution investigation, and the evaluation results of Mero method in the original standard specification are distorted, various water quality standards and evaluation methods at home and abroad are comprehensively analyzed and studied, and a set of comprehensive evaluation index system (44 inorganic indexes and 49 organic indexes) and classified superposition comprehensive evaluation method for groundwater quality and pollution are put forward, and the evaluation technical requirements and implementation rules are compiled. At the same time, the risk assessment method of groundwater pollution is innovatively put forward.

4. In order to support the informatization of groundwater pollution investigation, an information system has been developed.

According to the Standard for Investigation and Evaluation of Groundwater Pollution, an information system supporting the informatization of groundwater pollution investigation is developed based on the database structure of SQL Server. The system includes field data collection system, data sorting and data entry system, data management and comprehensive analysis system and CD-ROM system of comprehensive results of groundwater pollution investigation, which provides a powerful information tool for data collection, database construction, management analysis and results management of groundwater pollution investigation.

Second, the scope of application and application examples

The results of this project can be used for the investigation and evaluation of groundwater pollution in China.

The results of this project were applied to the investigation and evaluation of groundwater pollution in North China Plain, Yangtze River Delta Region, Pearl River Delta Region, Northeast Plain and Central and Western Regions organized and implemented by China Geological Survey, which provided technical support for the investigation and evaluation of groundwater pollution and played a key role in the smooth implementation of the national groundwater pollution investigation.

Third, promote the transformation mode.

This achievement should be popularized and transformed through personnel training, technical consultation and on-site service. This achievement has given three lectures on sampling technology in Shijiazhuang, Bengbu and Shenyang, and conducted on-site sampling technical guidance in Jiangsu, Hebei, Jilin, Shandong and Henan. Information system training in Shijiazhuang, Xiamen, Guilin and Chengdu.
