On New Year's Day, my mother and I came to Dazu County, Chongqing, where there are world-famous stone carvings. In the morning, I opened my sleepy eyes, went to the window and opened it. I only see the sun showing its shy yellow face. It was supposed to be a fine day, but as soon as our car drove to expressway, expressway was closed, because the fog spread all over the sky and could not pass until it cleared up. I was so anxious that I kept walking around like an ant on hot bricks, thinking: Why not? I just hope the fog will clear up quickly so that the traffic can pass. Soon, the fog finally dispersed slowly, and our car crawled like a snail. After passing the toll booth, the road was unimpeded. At 12, we finally reached our destination.
I jumped out of the car and went in to have a rest. My mother told me that she would burn paper on the mountain road tomorrow. Huh? What is burning paper? What a strange name. I don't know. I don't want to ask my mother. I want to get the answer from practice.
First, take the mountain road.
The next day, before dawn, it was quiet all around, only chickens crowed, so we got up early. After a while, my aunt set off up the mountain with a bamboo basket on her back and drove us to the foot of the mountain. I looked around. Wow! There are green fields everywhere, continuous peaks and crystal clear rivers, which are really beautiful. Look at the road, the road is not the asphalt road in our city, but the rugged mountain road. I ran for a long time and was out of breath. My sister pointed to the road ahead, and I followed my fingers. The road ahead can be said to be steep and stony. We walk on it, just like "foot massage", which is very uncomfortable! I walked sweaty and wobbly, and my sister walked easily and skipped. Why am I different from my sister? Because my sister is used to walking on the mountain road, and the mountain road is rugged, it is very painful to walk on it. I'm used to the asphalt roads in big cities. The asphalt roads in big cities are spacious and flat, so it's easy for my sister to walk. Oh, I finally know, about half, and I found the road ahead muddy. I heard my mother say that these roads were trampled, and I saw them. There won't be mud. I thought I was smart enough to step on it, but it was all mud. Luckily, my mother caught up with me When I look at my feet, the mud is on my shoes, and the shoes are full of water. Still sticky, the real mute can't tell how bitter it is to eat Rhizoma Coptidis! I thought, how come I can't even walk in the countryside? Strangely, I made it to my destination.
Second, burn paper.
After sitting for a while, we hurried to burn paper. Soon, we came to a house. I was very surprised. I looked around and smelled the west. I looked up and saw that the house was leaking in many places. Looking down, the layout is simple and the area is not wide. Everyone took out a pile of money paper, some incense, wine glasses, firecrackers, plates and sugar. It turned out to be "fake money" made of paper. I think it's novel and I'm going to tear up some paper. At first, I won't. I saw them take out a bundle, spread it out, tear it off one by one and put it in the pile of money paper. Good, I see. I also started to tear money paper. When everything was torn up, I saw my uncle holding some money-burning paper and making three bows to my ancestors. Then, I knew what it meant to burn New Year's paper: in order to show respect and yearning for the elders, everyone should burn incense and paper for them, so that they can bless themselves and get what they want. Listening to her mother-in-law said, "It used to take a lot of effort to live in such a house." I thought to myself: Uncle is a college student who came out from here, how hard it is, and I, with such good living conditions, such good food and such warm clothes, should cherish my living conditions. After burning Chinese New Year paper, we went up the mountain to burn paper and took Tiankan Road. I only dare to watch the road, but I'm afraid I'll fall into the river if I don't watch the road. Fortunately, the journey was smooth. When I arrived at a place where Chinese New Year paper was burned, I looked around. There are endless wild flowers and dense trees. I bowed to my elders first, and then I picked some wild flowers. I'm afraid of wrestling. But it finally happened. Just as we were going to burn paper for the last elder, we had to cross a wooden bridge. This wooden bridge is tied with two water pipes and ropes. I'm very scared. I looked at it. There are dense trees on the left and a big pit leading to the lake on the right. My heart is in my throat, but I still get up the courage to go forward and keep saying: I'm not afraid! It's all right after passing, but I was so stupid that I saw grass on the right and thought it was solid, so I stepped on it. The result was hollow, plop, and I fell down. I just stepped on a stone. Shh! Fortunately, there is no water under it. What a close call! My sister pulled me hard, and I struggled to get up and finally got up. Fortunately, my heart is back to normal now. You still have to go the same way when you go back. I'm too scared to go there. My uncle said, "You are afraid of this, so what will you do in the future?" This sentence gave me courage to cross the wooden bridge. Later, I remembered a sentence in my previous composition: "Difficulties are like springs. You are strong, it is weak. You are weak, it is strong. " Yes, as long as you are not afraid, you will be able to pass!
Third, look at the stone carvings.
On the third day, we will go to see Baoding stone carvings. Baoding Mountain is located in the northeast of the county 17.5 km, and there is Shengshou Temple on the top of it. The Buddha statue is centered on the Big Buddha Bay in the northwest valley of the temple and the Little Buddha Bay in the east of the temple. Cliff statues in grottoes 18, and there are still more than 10 pieces of sporadic works. Baodingshan stone carvings date from Xichun to Chunyou in the Southern Song Dynasty (1 174 ~ 1252), which lasted more than 70 years and was managed by Zhao Zhifeng, a famous monk in the Song Dynasty. According to my uncle, the name Baoding has a history! People think that the stone carvings in Baoding are all treasures, so the first word is treasure, and because these treasures are carved on mountains, they are named Baoding. I arrived at Baoding stone carving all the way with excitement. When I was about to walk to the gate, the first thing I saw was two bodhisattvas. These bodhisattvas are lifelike, lifelike, just like real ones. They entered the gate. They were the Jade Emperor and the Empress Dowager. They also wrote that the Taoist ancestors came ashore with cattle, and the mountain king lurked on the bridge. Further on, there is Jue Yuan Cave, and there is a big grotto in the west of Nanyan of Baoding Giant Buddha Bay, that is Jue Yuan Cave. There is a roaring stone lion at the mouth of the cave. On the cliff face of Jiaxiang, there are three characters "Baoding Mountain", written by Wei Liaoweng, a philosopher and poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. The main wall of the cave is carved with a "three-body" Buddha, and there are twelve bodhisattvas carved on both sides, six on each side. There is a base below. The six bases are connected to form a whole. Under the altar in front, there is a huge rectangular confessional. A bodhisattva knelt down under the confession, bowed his head and crossed his hands, asking the Buddha for explanation. It is said that when the twelve Bodhisattvas asked questions in turn, the Tathagata explained to them and wrote a Buddhist sutra called Jue Yuan Sutra. Jue Yuan Cave comes from the title of the book and comes out of Jue Yuan Cave, which is the cowherd on the wall. With the curvature of the rocky terrain, the whole picture is skillfully combined with the flowing water on the rock wall, carving rugged mountain roads and beautiful fairies. In this natural beauty, ten shepherds were carved and ten buffaloes were released. In the picture, the shepherd boy sleeps topless, or plays pastoral songs, or laughs side by side, or whips the cows, or leads them slowly. These lifelike statues are full of scenes and interests. Further on, it is holy water. The holy water is crystal clear, and people's shadows can be seen. It is said that drinking holy water can make you live forever, clear your liver and be happy forever. I took a few sips and hoped that I would live forever and be happy forever. Thinking that I can live forever and walk happily, I am a hungry Buddha. I only saw the hungry Buddha occupying a big wall, and my head was in it. So he didn't give him food and starved him alive. His sons repented beside him and moved on with Guanyin. The tour guide said, "In ancient times, King Miao Zhuang had three princesses. The eldest daughter is Jin Miao, the second daughter is Miao Yin, and the youngest daughter is Miaoshan. Jin Miao and Miao Yin both serve their parents wholeheartedly at home. Only Miaoshan believed in Buddhism since childhood and became a nun. King Miao Zhuang tried to persuade her to return to the palace, but she refused. In a rage, King Miao Zhuang tore down the temple and drove away the monks. But I never thought it shocked the gods. The gods blamed it, and King Miao Zhuang had 500 large abscesses all over his body. King Miao Zhuang sought medical treatment everywhere, but he could not be cured by visiting the shops. Later, a doctor said that this disease can only be cured by combining medication with one hand and one eye. He had no choice but to turn to Jin Miao and Miao Yin, but neither princess wanted to give them. Yincui gorge Miaoshan, after learning outside, resolutely gave her a hand and an eye, and asked her to treat her father with medicine. Sure enough, King Miao Zhuang soon recovered. Princess Miaoshan's filial piety not only educated King Miao Zhuang, but also was deeply moved by Sakyamuni's knowledge. In order to help Princess Miaoshan save the suffering beings from time to time, Sakyamuni gave her thousands of hands and eyes. Since then, Princess Miaoshan has become a goddess of mercy with thousands of eyes. " The most striking thing is that on the left and right sides of Guanyin and above the head, seemingly countless "golden" hands are proudly embossed like peacocks. Each hand has an eye in its heart and each hand holds an object. Its posture is stretched, bent, straight or sideways, round and colorful, resplendent and magnificent, giving people a sense of dazzling. There are 1007 hands and 1007 eyes in the avalokitesvara of Buddha Bay in Baoding Mountain. Because avalokitesvara is generally shaped like two eyes and two hands, with twenty hands and eyes on each side. It is the only truly thousand-handed and thousand-eyed stone carving Guanyin in China Buddhist art. When I got home, I thought to myself: How many days and nights did the ancients carve Guanyin with thousands of hands? They are not afraid of hardship and fatigue, which is the crystallization of the sweat of the ancients. I want to learn from them!
Fourth, go to offer birthday greetings.
On the fourth day, I heard that we were going to celebrate our birthday, so I couldn't wait to start. On Tiankan Road, the bamboo forest is lush and gives people a refreshing feeling. With an excited heart, I walked for more than an hour and finally came to a small "farmhouse". Some people here are playing mahjong, others are watching TV, but where is the birthday boy? I looked east and smelled west, and finally I saw an old lady in her 90s sitting on a bamboo chair. Mother-in-law wears a white hat, purple clothes and a red rope. I heard from her mother that it was red for the old woman, and I was curious to see someone "roast" the chicken. Suddenly I heard the sound of beating gongs and drums, and I took my eyes off the "roasted" chicken. Blowing and beating, finally, the play is over. They put down their musical instruments and went to the open space opposite the house to start preparing the program. After a while, they put up a door curtain, which read: Sanqu Town Friendship Fitness Team welcomes you. It turned out that they had come to celebrate the 90th birthday of the old lady. Happy birthday is playing on the stereo one after another. At night, the sky is gray. I finished my meal quickly, sat in the front row and watched the program carefully. First of all, my children and grandchildren extend their birthday greetings to the old woman to show their respect for their elders. At this moment, the old lady smiled from ear to ear. Then, the host praised the old woman for her good quality, saying that she was a good wife and mother, and tears suddenly appeared in her eyes, but no one noticed that at the end of the program, I found several people performing the program. I suddenly have a feeling that only a few people still perform the program so well. When the audience says that the performance is not good, they are not discouraged and work harder on the stage. Therefore, I want to learn from their indomitable spirit!
This trip to Dazu left a deep impression on me, which I will never forget. I learned to cherish my living conditions, learn the indomitable spirit, learn the spirit of not being afraid of hardship and fatigue, learn to respect my elders, be filial to my parents, and learn not to be afraid of difficulties, so I will certainly pass!
