How to better play the role of overseas talent liaison station

It is understood that the establishment of a liaison station for talent work is an important measure for the city to lay out the strategy of talent introduction at home and abroad, and will provide services for Shantou to contact and introduce high-level talents at home and abroad, carry out talent introduction activities and publicize policies. Relying on the U.S. Silicon Valley Science and Technology Advisory Committee, our city has established Shantou Overseas Talent Work Liaison Station (Silicon Valley, USA) to publicize Shantou's talent policy and industrial development to the United States, so as to improve overseas talents' recognition and identity with Shantou. Our city will also take the initiative to connect talents, scientific and technological information with the liaison station, establish a sharing mechanism of talents and technical resources, and give full play to the role of the liaison station in talent exchange, training and technical services.

In addition to the Silicon Valley Liaison Station, our city will also go to Los Angeles to set up Shantou Overseas Talents Liaison Station (Los Angeles, USA) relying on the Los Angeles Branch of China Association for Science and Technology. The two stops in the United States this time are social organizations with great influence in the United States. Silicon Valley Science and Technology Advisory Committee (SVTC) is a non-profit and non-political organization jointly founded by Guangdong Zhonghuan Group (USA) and Silicon Valley Science and Technology Association. It is committed to providing a platform for scientific and technological business information exchange and career development, and building a bridge between China and the United States. China Association for Science and Technology (American Association for Science and Technology) is a comprehensive scientific and technological group established in new york in the summer of 1992. Its members are mainly composed of professionals from science and technology, culture, education, law, finance, humanities and other fields in the United States and China. At present, there are 14 branches and professional societies in the United States, with offices and liaison offices in major cities in China.
