Personally, I care more about the scenery than shopping when traveling. I think the significance of traveling is that it can make me relax, feel the culture and history of different places and appreciate the beautiful natural scenery. When I am in beautiful scenery, I will feel very happy and satisfied, which shopping can't bring. At the same time, I also believe that I will meet many interesting people and things during my trip, and these experiences will benefit me for life.
Of course, shopping during the trip is inevitable. But for me, shopping is only a small part of the trip, and I won't put it first. I prefer to explore local food, culture and history during my trip, which are irreplaceable experiences for shopping.
To sum up, tourism has different meaning and value for everyone. I care more about the scenery and experience the local culture than shopping.
