The development of history
Tai Po has a long history, and many cultural sites and Shang tombs belonging to the late Neolithic period have been discovered successively, which proves that people lived in settlements as early as 4000 years ago. As far back as Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties, Tai Po was the southern source of Yangzhou and belonged to Jieyang in Qin and Han Dynasties.
In the 9th year of Yixi in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (4 13), Zhao Yi County was established, belonging to Yi 'an County.
In the third year of the Great Cause of Sui Dynasty (607), Zhao Yi County was changed to Wanchuan County, belonging to Chaozhou, and Zhao Yi and Wanchuan County were located in Julio (the ancient city).
In the fourth year of Wude in Tang Dynasty (62 1), Wanchuan County was abandoned and the county territory was merged into Haiyang County (now Chao 'an) in Chaozhou.
Since then, it was Guangde Township, Haiyang County, Chaozhou in the Song, Yuan and Ming Dynasties.
In the 14th year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty (1478), Raoping County was established, and Tai Po was the land of Raoping County in Chaozhou.
In the fifth year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1526), Qingyuan and Luanzhou in Raoping County were renamed as dapu county, and the county was ruled in Chayang Town, belonging to Chaozhou Prefecture.
In the third year of Qing dynasty (1738), six fengshun counties were newly established, namely Baimangshe, Yang Jianzhu, Xiashezi, Tangzifu, Fengchui (Xishi) and Qingmayuan.
In the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), Li Chao followed the road, and in the twenty-fifth year of the Republic of China (1936), he belonged to the Commissioner's Office of the Sixth Administrative Supervision District of Guangdong.
1949 After the establishment of New China, it successively belonged to Xingmei District, Yuedong Administrative District and Shantou District.
1958, Fengshun County was abolished, and four communes, such as Tanjiang, Huangjin, Liuwei and Dalonghua, were transferred to dapu county.
1960 fengshun county was re-established and the above four communes were returned to fengshun.
