"Gu Xiang Mountain, the bell comes naturally, and the iron centipede behind Yuelu Mountain" is a saying in Changsha. Summarized three scenic spots with magical legends in Yuelu Mountain. There are also flying stones, laughing stones, wooden fish bags, snake caves and other scenery on the mountain.
Sorrow and sorrow, Gu Xiang Mountain.
Gu Xiang Mountain is behind Yunlu Palace. There is a drum tower pavilion on the ridge, and there is a hexagonal granite platform in the pavilion. On the right side of the pavilion, the words "Wind Observatory" are engraved on the boulder. Walking on the ridge of the field sounds like a hollow sound, just like playing drums. It can be seen that "drums" are not empty words. Why are there drums? It is said to be the echo of Zhuge kicking the pavilion: According to legend, in ancient times, there was a young couple named Zhuge and Gu Tao near Taohualing, who grew up together and were very loving after marriage. I didn't want my brother to go out once, but my aunt Gu Tao was robbed by a bully. She swore to death and hanged herself. Wish you all the best. If you don't see my aunt Tao, you can climb this ridge and cry. Because the foot strength is too heavy, it alarmed the mountain god. The mountain god led Taoxian to see Brother Zhu. Knowing what happened to Aunt Gu Tao, I wish you all the best. You killed the bully that night, and we will meet here every year when you are in bloom. From then on, may Gordon step on it and sound like a drum. Gu Xiang Mountain got its name from this, and it is also called "Xiangguling". Others say it was the sound of stones falling on the fairy drum: Legend has it that one day a farmer named Zhou Jie at the foot of the mountain saved a white rabbit from the claws of a wolf. I don't want the mountain rabbit to be changed by the mountain god. In order to thank Zhou Jie for saving his life, the mountain god gave him a small leather drum and told him: Go to the edge of the cliff, knock on the leather drum three times and the stone gate will open. You can take whatever you want. Knock on the drum three times when you come out, and the Shimen will be closed. After Zhou Jie opened the stone gate, all he wanted was a calf. The rich man in the village learned the news, stole the leather drum, knocked Zhou Jie unconscious, and took his lackeys to the cave to get the treasure. When Zhou Jie woke up, he climbed to the mouth of the cave, grabbed a handful of pebbles and drummed. The rich man was locked in the hole with the drum. Since then, Shimen has been closed forever, but when you come here, you can still hear the sound of "drumming", which is the sound of stones falling on drums. This ridge is also called Mount Gu Xiang.
For this strange place, the ancients have long chanted: "When the road is empty, look at Chicheng, and Du Xuan sees footsteps first. In winter and winter, people follow the clouds, and drums should know. " Because there is the word "filling deficiency" in the poem, it is also called "filling deficiency order"
Sad return bell
The return clock is sandwiched between the branches of an ancient ginkgo tree in front of Wangxiang Pavilion under Yunlu Palace. Copper casting, engraved with the inscription "made in four years of Ming Wanli", will never rust after more than 400 years of wind, frost, rain and snow. Because of being caught in a tree, it seems to be lost, so it is called "spontaneous clock" and "flying clock". But some locals disagree. They think that the real name of this clock is "Return Clock" and the flying clock is a rumor. According to legend, there was once a queen who suffered from a strange disease: there was no cure, only the bell could cure it. The emperor recruited famous craftsmen from all over the world to cast clocks and watches in the palace. However, after casting for several months, every clock has cracks that can't be bridged, which sounds sweet. Later, a Taoist priest came to the palace and said to the emperor: If you want to make a clock, you must catch a pair of twin sisters at the foot of Yuelu Mountain one day. The emperor was convinced that the fisherman's daughter Jin Xian and his two sisters Narcissus were caught in a melting pot and a clock was cast. The queen's illness was really cured. The old fisherman who lost his twin daughters was in great pain and jumped into the river. So, the river rolled up and surged into the palace, drowned the emperor and swept away the clock. A few days later, the old fisherman's body appeared at the foot of Yuelu Mountain with Zhong. People buried the fisherman on the mountain and put the clock on his grave. Soon, a ginkgo tree suddenly grew on the grave, holding the clock tightly on the branch, and no one could take it away. Later, Taoist priests used it to live and rest, and their voices were melodious and sad. I heard it as the voice of "returning", hence the name "Gui Zhong".
The iron centipede with infinite strength
Legend has it that a long time ago, there was a Jinshi who stayed at Yuelu Temple and took the exam in Beijing. One night, I suddenly heard a woman crying. Looking around, I saw a young woman sitting on a bluestone deep in the forest sobbing. Her name is She Yun. She was injured by a hunter here and asked to take her home. The scholar agreed. When he arrived at the woman's house, a short man in black opened the door to greet him, prepared wine for the scholar, and finally gave him a plate of rare treasures. However, the scholar saw a fist-sized dazzling bead in class, and suddenly he had evil thoughts and wanted to buy an official in Beijing, so he stole it. When he returned to the temple, the elders saw that he was unlucky and knew that he would be killed. It turned out that the father and daughter were black and white pythons on the back of Yuelu Mountain. White python is not good at kung fu, and black python has practiced for thousands of years. The beads stolen by the scholar were obtained by the black python for thousands of years, and it will never rest in peace. The scholar regretted it, but turned to the elder for help. The elders thought he was young and still repenting, so they told him to hide in the big iron bell, the treasure of the mountain behind the temple. At night, the black python came to settle accounts with the scholar and was killed by the magic mirror. However, the Zhenshan iron clock has been entangled in the cracks and can no longer hide from people. The elder asked the scholar to change the beads into silver money and the blacksmith to cast iron bells into several big centipedes, which stopped the white python who came to retaliate.
Earth-shattering flying stones
The flying stone is under the flying clock. This is a steep boulder with a flat top and an area of 1 square foot. The original pavilion has been destroyed. Climbing the stone can see Heng Yue and worship, so it is called "worshipping Yue Stone". It is engraved with the poems written by Song and Zhao: "Pianshi leans on the sky, and the clouds are deep and the birds are idle. Many people wish Yaoshou and go here to worship Nanshan. " Nanshan is Heng Yue. What is "flying stone"? Since it is the worship of Yue people? Probably because of its sudden suspension and flying stones, the people attached a beautiful myth: it is said that there was a stone satrap in Changsha in the early years. As soon as he arrived, he went to Yuelu Mountain in person and asked the local people to dig up the priceless golden duck girl at the bottom of the land and water within three days. Just when people were at their wits' end, a fairy gave them a golden hoe and told them to put the dug golden duck in a box and put it at the foot of Yunlu Mountain for the prefect to take. People do as they are told. The next day, the magistrate and officials came to meet them. In high spirits, they suddenly saw the golden duck girl open her mouth, raise her tail and spit out black smoke. Then she heard an earth-shattering noise, and a huge stone came and crushed them all. The golden duck shouted three times and flapped its wings to fly back to the land and water. This boulder is called "flying stone".
Mixed feelings, little cliff.
Xiaoti Cliff is in the right ridge of Baihequan, Lushan Mountain. There are grotesque rocks on the cliff, and the mountain is steep and fast, which looks like crying and laughing, hence the name Xiaoti Cliff. The Castanopsis eyrei trees between the cliffs are still flourishing. People who come to play should sit under the tree and savor the touching legend about Xiaoti Cliff.
Long, long ago, a young hunter named Ge Ren won the love of Ying Shan Hong Hua Xian under the cliff with his diligence and simplicity. Hua Xian often incarnates as a beautiful woman and helps Ge Ren with housework. Over time, the feelings deepened, and then they got married under the matchmaking of Hua Xian. After the marriage, Hua Xian still resigned at night. The next year, I had a happy son named Zhu Yuan. When Ge Ren came back from hunting, he always stood at the foot of the cliff and smiled at Yingshanhong. Strange to say, the laughter seems to come from the cliff stone and often echoes in the valley for a long time. I don't want Hua Xian's birthday this year to happen to be the full moon of Zhu Yuan. The flower god was patrolling the lower bound, and happened to see Hua Xian holding the baby, and pressed her to the bottom of the cliff in a rage. Hua Xian misses her husband and son so much that she cries at the edge of the cliff every night. Zhu Yuan is a little older and eager to find her mother. I heard my mother crying under the cliff, and suddenly my head hit a tree and died. The blood flowed into the gap of the cliff, and soon a small Castanopsis eyrei tree grew. People say this "circle" is a pearl. It still grows so well in the gap of the cliff because its mother is giving him milk to eat.
From then on, every evening, in the breeze of the valley, Ge Ren's laughter, Hua Xian's cry and the rustling of bare branches and leaves made the listeners have mixed feelings.
Muyubao disaster relief
There is a big tree next to Baihequan that two people can't hold together. There is a big bag on the trunk, which looks like a big wooden fish, so it is named Muyubao. Legend has it that it was changed by a wooden fish in Lushan Temple.
It was a long time ago in the middle of the night. The wind was blowing hard and it rained heavily. At dawn, the monks in Lushan Temple found that the Lotus Sutra in the Tibetan Scripture Building was missing. This scroll is the treasure of Lushan Mountain. It shines at night, making it shine like day. With it, Changsha city is in good weather, and if it is lost, it will be a disaster. To this end, the temple is a mess. A woodcutter didn't know it was a wooden fish in the temple until he reported it. After hundreds of years of incense, he became spiritual, stole Hokkekyo, climbed to the river, and attempted to ascend to heaven regardless of thousands of creatures. The monk brought the wooden fish back, but it refused to spit out the scriptures. The abbot revealed the only way: hang it from a tree without touching the ground, and then read Hokkekyo, an ascetic monk, to it for nine days, knocking while reading. On the ninth day, it will spit out Buddhist scriptures. A young monk persisted for nine days. When he finished the last sentence, Muyu opened his mouth and spit out the scripture, but collapsed under the tree and never got up again. The big wooden fish was knocked into the trunk by the young monk and grew with the big tree for a long time, becoming this wooden fish bag.
Tao Kan plague snake point
The snake cave is in a valley north of Yubei Peak. Before the Western Jin Dynasty, because Taoist Zhang practiced here, he became immortal, hence the name Huguang Cave. Wanshou Palace and Chongzhen Hall were built here, which became a quiet and exquisite fairy cave where many Taoist priests ascended to heaven. Later, the temple was in disrepair and gradually abandoned. During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, it was occupied by a python. Therefore, it is also called Mang Snake Cave.
No one knows where this python came from. Legend has been practiced for thousands of years, but because the fetal skeleton has not been replaced, it can't be a positive result. Every July 15, when people flock out to burn incense and worship Buddha, it will devour creatures. This year, it made a new move: the day before July 15, it turned into an old man and went to Baiheguan, Changsha City for fresh air. It is said that the "Three Clearances" of Yunlu Palace will be announced tomorrow, and there will be an overpass across all beings, and people who are destined will not miss the opportunity. The news spread throughout the city overnight. Late at night on July 15th, the python cast a black magic, sticking out its tongue like a long bridge, stretching out one end of the Xiangjiang River to the Baihe Temple, one end hanging in mid-air, the long hair on its neck turned into a colorful flag, and the horns turned into a magnificent Tianmen. Its eyes turned into extra-large green lanterns hanging on both sides of Tianmen, and its mouth made a beautiful sound, like the waves in Yue Xian. Some Taoist priests and believers solemnly walked on the long bridge, but they all went there and never came back. Tao Kan, the magistrate of Changsha County, was very surprised when he heard this. After careful observation on the bridge, I decided that it was a demon, so I bent my bow and took an arrow and shot directly at the Green Lantern. In an instant, Eden suddenly disappeared, blood and rain fell, and the overpass disappeared. The onlookers woke up like a dream and dispersed in an uproar. Tao Kan also ordered all pharmacies in the city to prevent Cyclops from buying medicine and only sell rotten eye drops. The python was in unbearable pain, so it turned into a Taoist priest and came to the city to buy medicine. The drugstore sells rotten eye drops, and the python dies of poison soon after applying it. In order to commemorate Tao Kan's achievements, the people specially built a python shooting platform next to the cave, but it is no longer there. The legend may be exaggerated, but Tao Kan's work of eliminating pesticides for the people is recorded in Yuelu Lu in the Kangxi period.
Tao Kan (259-334), a native of Xunyang, Lujiang (now Jiujiang, Jiangxi), was the ancestor of the famous poet Tao Yuanming. He is the secretariat of Xiangzhou, the official of Qiu, and the Duke of Changsha. Officials have good governance. He was stationed in Hushan, Xiangtan to develop Xiangtan commerce. He often said, "The sage of Dayu cherishes every inch of yin. As for everyone, when you cherish the shade, you can't escape, and you are drunk! Life is not conducive to time, and death is unknown to the future. It is self-defeating. " County people read their merits and built Taogong Temple in Yin Xi Street, Changsha today. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, Lu Tingjue, a magistrate of a county, carved a statue of Taogong in the temple, named Xiyin Academy. Houney, whose website now has Yin Xi Street Primary School. Tao Kan was buried at the southern foot of Yuelu Mountain after his death. There is a cenotaph in Hushan, Xiangtan. "Jin's clothes are ancient dust", or this. There is also a Taogong Temple in Linxiang Mountain, seven town, Changsha County, which is a place to worship his grandson, Uncle Dan Tao. "Hunan Tongzhi" contains: Dan Tao "Less lonely and better, bait the grass to break the valley, learn one step. Building a house in Linxiang Mountain, Changsha. A white deer lives in the house, and three white cranes often serve around. He and his nephew were made into a corpse, and the remains still exist. " The local people appreciated their sincerity and built a temple in Liang (507) in the Southern Dynasty. Incense reached its peak in the past dynasties, and it has the reputation of "a famous mountain throughout the ages and a temple left in the Six Dynasties". In the second year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty (1852), due to the drought, the temple was also called Taozhenren Temple. The existing buildings were built in the Qing Dynasty, which is rich in southern folk architectural style in the late Qing Dynasty. Zhu's calligraphy "Virtue Boundless" and Qing Tongzhi's imperial pen "People's Ryan House" are hung in the hall. Another Qing Dynasty calligrapher, Weng Tonghe, wrote Ancient Drama in calligraphy. Behind the temple, Gui Huayuan has beautiful scenery. It was once a place where literati gathered to recite poems.
The Mang Snake Cave has been in oblivion for many years since it was destroyed in Tao Kan. According to legend, Zhong Xianchao of Shang Dynasty lived in seclusion here during the Duanping period of Southern Song Dynasty. Because he loves its scenery of "fragrant wind and purple fog, winding spring", he named it "Cangyu Valley" and built a Champs in it. When Zhao Yun was guarding Shaoling, he was closely related to Zhong. He once presented a poem couplet of "Fairy Nest Blowing Fragrant Pavilion" and Du Xunhe, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, "Let a crane fly to find a visitor from the three islands, and let anyone see flowers at all times". Soon after Zhao Yun ascended the throne, this "cave-valley encounter" became a much-told story for a while.
