The Jinan-Laiwu high-speed railway was officially put into operation, which is the first intercity high-speed railway with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour in China and an important part of the "Mi-shaped" high-speed railway network in Jinan, the provincial capital. Jinan East Railway Station is connected with Shijie High-speed Railway and Qing Ji High-speed Railway and connected to the national high-speed railway network, ending the history of no high-speed railway in Laiwu District and Gangcheng District of Jinan City. The fastest running time from Jinan to Laiwu is 42 minutes.
At the initial stage of operation, the railway department arranged to operate four pairs of EMU trains, namely, peak line trains 1 pair, namely G537 1/G5372, G5373/G5374, G5375/G5376, G5377/G5378 and G9325/G9326.
The specific route direction of Jilai high-speed railway
From Jinan East Railway Station to the east, after crossing Qing Ji High-speed Railway and Shijike Passenger Dedicated Line under construction, turn south in front of Donghuan Expressway, cross Yegong North Road, Ji Jiao Railway, century avenue and Shidong Road in turn along the west side of Donghuan Expressway, set up Ganggou Station in Panzhuang Village, and reserve the planning conditions for connecting Jinan to Taian Railway; After the line leaves Ganggou Station, it passes through Donghuan Expressway and Beijing-Shanghai Expressway on the east side of Ganggou Town, and then turns east, along the south side of Beijing-Shanghai Expressway to Shawan Village in Zhangqiu, and Zhangqiu South Station is set up.
After leaving the station, the line crosses the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, turns south to the east of Dazhai Village and enters Yexue Town, Laiwu City. Yexue Station is set near Lingdong Village on the east side of Ye Xue Town. After leaving the station, the line passes through Dongbeiling Tunnel, Dongtai Head Village, Daye Reservoir and the secondary water source protection area of Daye Reservoir, and reaches the vicinity of Huangyatou Village, Zhangjiawa Town, Laiwu Station.
After leaving the station, the line successively passes through Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, Wari Railway, Xiaoyi Reservoir and Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, passes through the northeast of Xinzhuang Town, Qiaodian Village and Jin Lan Village, along the east side of Laigang Avenue to the vicinity of Huangzhuang Town, Gangcheng District, Laiwu City, and sets up the terminal of the line, Gangcheng East Station.
