It is a convenient method written by Jimelinba (that is, the person who respects wisdom and despises light), and turns the double operation of revealing secrets into practical use.
First, what is the integration of Buddhism into life
Perhaps many people will think that they often volunteer and donate property, blood, organs and so on. And various behaviors advocated by Buddhism are concrete manifestations of Buddhism's integration into life. Although it cannot be categorically denied that this is also a part of Buddhism's integration into life, if there is no compassion, altruism and alienation in the heart, such love and compassion are also heretics, and there are good people in society. This can only be regarded as a good deed, not a unique behavior of Buddhism.
If you want to integrate Buddhism into your life, you must first have a Buddha in your heart. If you don't have Buddhism at all, what can you integrate into your life?
There is no way. Therefore, we must first have a positive view and an eccentric bodhicitta, so as to integrate Buddhism into daily life. Whether in real life or in the whole life cycle, our three biggest problems are:
First, greed, greed for money, fame and everything in the world, are all tied up by fame and fortune, called greed, which is one of the most critical factors in our circulation;
Second, selfishness, for personal gain, is also a very serious problem;
The third kind is more serious, that is, persistence, which makes you worry about everything and hold on to it.
It is precisely because of these three evils that we cannot get rid of the cycle. The solution to these three problems is the real Buddhism.
The cure for greed is alienation. With centrifugation, greed can be broken or controlled;
Selfish treatment is bodhicitta. With bodhicitta, selfishness can be reduced or eliminated;
Insisting on treatment is to prove Wukong's nature. After proving Wukong's nature, all problems including greed, selfishness and persistence will be solved, so it is the most important to prove Wukong's nature.
Zen often talks about letting go, letting go, how to let go? For the time being, I feel that life is boring, pessimistic, divorced from life and hiding in the mountains to practice. This is not letting go, it is a temporary escape. To really let go is to fundamentally know that all this is like a dream, so there is no persistence and no obstacles.
We must know that any world, regardless of money, reputation, status and people, will certainly bring us great pain as long as it persists. The greater our persistence, the greater our pain, and even the pain has surpassed the happiness that this thing originally brought us. That's for sure. To get rid of all the pain in the world, we must first get rid of persistence.
Some Indian pagans don't know this truth and don't look for reasons. Just blindly believe that samsara can be broken directly, as long as it is destroyed. Therefore, their extreme behaviors, such as nakedness, self-abuse, and even jumping off a building and self-immolation, are all caused by their wrong view that they have not found the root of reincarnation and pain.
Ordinary people agree that pain comes from people, things or other things outside. Although on the surface, the pain comes from the outside world, which no one can deny, the real source of pain is not from the outside world, but from our own hearts. In the final analysis, it is persistence.
But it is difficult to get rid of persistence, especially the conservative method of Xianzong, so we need a better and faster method, that is, the method of proving Wukong's nature as Tantric said.
Second, stand on the top of a high mountain and walk on the deep seabed.
However, even if you realize emptiness, you should obey all beings in appearance.
Ceng Yun, a master of Lotus Peanut, said, "Even if perception is higher than vanity, the cause and effect of choice are more detailed", that is to say, opinions should be open and lofty, but actions must be conservative and cautious.
Openness means that after proving Wukong's sexuality, everything, including killing thieves, adultery, listening and practicing, is illusory. There is no distinction between good and evil, good and bad, high and low, left and right, and there are no obstacles. It's all empty, empty and light All the rules we created with common sense-precepts, rules, regulations and laws formulated by Buddhism or other religions-have disappeared. For such people, there is nothing to do and nothing not to do. They have gone beyond these constraints, so their views are very open.
But if the behavior is consistent with the viewpoint, the problem arises. Although there is no problem for the real winners themselves. Whether in Tibet, China or India, there are countless successful people who have exceeded all the restrictions. Even in order to break the shackles, they will take coercive and extreme measures. For example, tantric acceptance of five meats and five honey is a means to transcend bondage. But other beings don't understand these bohemian and unrestrained behaviors. In order to protect the foundation of all sentient beings and the hearts or emotions of other sentient beings, behavior must be conservative.
Master Lotus Peanut also said: "The appearance should practice classics, and the cause and effect should be carefully selected." Even if there is a tantric realm inside, the external behavior should be carried out in accordance with Hinayana Buddhism, so we should choose cause and effect carefully.
But opinions should never be conservative, otherwise they are persistent, so opinions should be open. This is the request of Master Lotus Peanut in dzogchen, the top secret of Nimba.
In fact, except Nyingmaba, all Tibetan Buddhists have the same requirements for tantric pedestrians.
Third, kill two birds with one stone.
Many people are listening to Si Wen, and they have also heard the Theory of Entering the Trade and The Great March? Many excellent works, such as Guru Pu Xian's "Teaching by Words" and "dzogchen's Rest in Peace", are very pious, trying their best to stop evil deeds and good deeds, but there are still some shortcomings in putting Buddhism into practice.
Although we can establish a new outlook on life and values through listening and thinking, we can understand many problems even without practicing, but compared with other people who don't study Buddhism at all, our views are completely different. But the effect of listening and thinking only ends here, and the real implementation still depends on practice.
However, for most Buddhists, full-time practice is impossible. Even the more pious practitioners generally do not spend more than three or four hours in strict practice every day, and the remaining twenty hours will be trapped by trivial matters in the world. If we can't integrate Buddhism into our life, most of our time will be wasted. On the other hand, if you can integrate Buddhism into your daily life and let your words and deeds be led by Buddhism, there will be many benefits:
First, it will not create an enterprise;
Second, life will be more meaningful;
Third, it will be happier, happier and more fulfilling, and the quality of life will gradually improve.
We have a special article on how to turn illness into Tao and how to face happiness and pain (that is, practice and life, see a bright light). These are all ways to integrate Buddhism into life. In this article, we will introduce how to turn all behaviors, including eating, living, sleeping and so on, into Tao.
What is behavior? That is, all activities in daily life, including eating, living, walking and lying down, whether mental or physical, are called behaviors.
By making vows, all vulgar and ordinary behaviors that have nothing to do with Bodhisattva Taoism are transformed into Bodhisattva Taoism, that is, behaviors are transformed into Taoism.
If you know how to turn your behavior into the use of Tao and put it into your daily life, then you can accumulate a lot of resources while working and living, which does not require extra time. You can kill two birds with one stone while doing other work, so it is very important and meaningful.
Fourth, the specific methods
There are also many ways to turn behavior into Tao in "On Entering the Industry and Interpreting it" and "Hua Yan Jing", which you can also refer to.
The behavior introduced here is changed to Taoism, which includes both the patriarchal method and the tantric method, so the behavior called double luck of showing secrets is changed to Taoism.
From waking up in the morning to sleeping at the last night every day, how can we turn all the actions of the day into enlightenment?
(1) awakening
I just woke up from my dream in the morning and opened my eyes to see the world. How to make a wish?
Usually when we wake up from sleep, we are in a daze and sleepy. We have no opinions or wishes. After washing in a hurry, we hurried to work. But practitioners should not do this, but should first realize that waking up from a dream is similar to waking up from an illusory realm; Suddenly waking up from a deep sleep is like waking up from an unconscious state and coming to a new world seen by your eyes. To some extent, this is similar to proving Wukong's nature and reaching the peaceful place of Buddha, so we have to make a wish: "May all beings wake up from the darkness of ignorance and finally achieve the fruit of Buddha." In this way, we can accumulate a lot of resources as long as we make a wish.
These opportunities come every day, but we have never made such a wish, because we don't know these methods, so we waste all the opportunities.
From now on, we must make full use of every morning. Although I am not familiar with it at first, I will get used to it as long as I stick to it for a week or two, and I will naturally make such a wish every time I wake up from my sleep.
At the same time, I must swear: "I must live a meaningful life today, and my life today must be valuable." This means that you must do your best to do good and do evil on that day, and think and practice according to your own ability.
(2) Get up
To some extent, getting up is similar to the Buddha incarnating from the dharma state and reporting to all beings, so we should be sincere:
"May all sentient beings obtain dharma bodies and manifest their incarnations from the dharma bodies, so as to transform all sentient beings."
(3) dressing
When you wear clothes, you should make a wish: "May all beings in the world be ashamed." Shameless is shameless, and there is no evil without evil; With a sense of shame, we can consciously respect cause and effect, guard against evil deeds.
(4) Wear a belt
When wearing a belt, make a wish: "May all beings be good and lucky." The so-called double luck means wisdom and sorrow, happiness and wisdom, secular truth and victory. May all sentient beings do good and break evil in secular truth, prove Wukong's nature in victory, practice good roots like a dream, and cultivate wisdom, convenience and blessings.
sit down
Sitting anywhere, whether sitting on the ground or sitting on the sofa, is a bit like Sakyamuni Buddha realizing Buddha's fruit in a diamond throne in India, so he has to make a wish: "May all beings have a diamond throne."
After passing through the ten ends of the Bodhisattva, I finally realized a room of Buddha fruit, that is, the throne of King Kong.
(6) Entering the door
Whether you enter the office door at work or at home, you must make a wish when you enter the door: "May all beings enter the door of liberation and the city of liberation." The city of liberation is a clean Buddhist temple like the western paradise.
go to bed
Going to sleep is similar to cutting off all consciousness, including Aryan knowledge and all thoughts, at the end of the ten places, and entering a state of mindless wisdom, that is, entering the eleventh place from the last moment of the ten places, that is, the Buddha's land.
Especially in "The Origin of Buddhist Species" (see "The Light of the Wisdom Lamp"), tantric believes that waking up from a dream every day, experiencing work and life during the day and going to sleep at night is also a reincarnation. This 24-hour cycle is exactly the same as the big cycle that has been circulating from the beginning, but the time is short, only 24 hours. Therefore, before going to bed, make a wish: "May all beings get the fruit of dharma!" In this way, after making a wish, the act of falling asleep can be transformed into Bodhisattva.
(8) dreaming
Because our real life is like dreaming at night, it is like dreaming, so those who have the basis of dream yoga should also make a wish when dreaming: "May all beings realize that all dharma is like a dream."
Dream yoga is practiced in Nimaba's Six Meditations of Yin, Gajuba's Six Meditations of Naruo and Graba's MiJingang. By practicing dream yoga, you can clearly realize that you are dreaming at the initial stage of dreaming.
Dream yoga is not difficult to know that you are dreaming, and it is of little significance. The most important thing is to know that everything in real life is as illusory as a dream.
However, these amendments are useless to those who have never done it once, at least in quantity, because our foundation has not been laid yet.
(9) Cooking (making a fire)
In the summary of Tantric Buddhism (see the light of the lamp of wisdom), it is mentioned that the impure phenomenon we see stems from our own ignorance. If ignorance does not exist or is cut off, then the true essence of earth, fire, wind and gas is the altar city of Buddha. No matter what kind of fire you see, its essence is the white Buddha mother.
When the gas stove is turned on, the fire is a little bit. First of all, in the middle of the fire, imagine a fire (>), and then the word bang becomes an empty big library, that is, among the five Buddhas, the big library belongs to the King Kong Department. The body is black, with her arms on one side, a diamond pestle in her right hand and a diamond bell in her left hand. She sits on the lotus seat in a posture of bending right and stretching left. The decoration on her body is like Vajrayana, but unlike other Tantric vaults, her mouth is open. She should think of her tongue as the whole of all the Buddha tongues of the Ten Kingdoms and Three Dynasties.
Before cooking, you should prepare some sand by the gas stove, then concentrate all the sins you have accumulated from the beginning on the hidden black (2) in your heart, and then put the seeds of fire under your navel (
This is an effective confession method, which has many conveniences, such as visualization, chanting and four pairs of therapeutic power, and visualization is not complicated. If you can observe and repair it like this every time you cook, it will have unexpected effects. Before learning Buddhism, when we were cooking and cooking, we would kill chickens and fish, so cooking was a crime. After learning Buddhism, no more killing. Cooking is not a crime, but it is not doing good, just cooking and cooking. Now that I have learned this method, cooking can become a bodhisattva path from now on. How interesting!
(10) for a walk
There are three situations when walking-good, evil and no memory. The difference lies in the motivation of the walker. If you walk for good deeds such as liberation, then walking is good law; If you leave for stealing and killing, it is a crime; Not for doing good or evil, just walking, or rushing to work and so on. , that is, there is no memorization.
How to turn the memoryless walking into Bodhisattva Road?
The Ganges River in India is very long and vast, and there are countless sands in it, so Sakyamuni Buddha often uses the Ganges River sand number as a metaphor for the large quantity.
First of all, visualize the Buddhist temple with Ganges sand in a dust. When walking, visualize yourself circling thousands of Buddhist temples with Ganges sand, so that the walking behavior can be transformed into Tao.
(1 1) wear new clothes
When wearing new clothes, especially brand-name new clothes, you can say the mantra silently: Ombasovodos Chardat Wamobasodosk. That is, everything is empty. At the same time, visualize that clothes are also empty, and then generate a seed word (Q) from the empty, and then visualize that the seed word becomes the clothes of heaven and man. First support your fundamental guru, then support your own deity, and then wear it yourself, so that you can accumulate resources by wearing clothes.
It has been said in "Give Up All" that the clothes on earth are no more expensive than those on earth. Xianmi believes that even if they do provide clothes for the guru and the deity, they will not wear them. However, all laws must look at karma and start from karma. The key to the origin is one's own heart, that is to say, all good and evil come from the motivation of the manufacturer. Just thinking about supporting the fundamental Buddha and Bodhisattva, you can still get the real blessing of supporting and accumulate resources.
Since even wearing new clothes can become a bodhisattva path, isn't this very meaningful?
Take a bath
Many people take a bath every day, but they just wash their bodies clean. Now we must find a way to turn it into Bodhisattva Road.
From the point of view of ordinary people's restlessness, water is a liquid substance, but from the point of view of eight bodhisattvas, the body of water is actually one of Five Dhyani Buddhas's mothers, Mamagefo.
When taking a bath, think about Mamag's seed word (2) first. Then take the word (2) as the Buddha mother of water-Buddha King Kong, and then recite the mantra: Banza innovates as Geri Soha, and at the same time pray for Buddha King Kong to be quiet and bless his sinful career from the beginning, and then visualize Buddha King Kong turning into nectar and melting into bath water before taking a bath.
Similarly, when crossing the river, the water of the whole river should be visualized in the same way.
As explained in the second revision of Birth (see Light of Wisdom Lamp), the reason why Tantric Buddhism does not directly visualize this deity is because it first visualizes a seed word on the sun and moon wheel of the lotus cushion, then visualizes the seed word as an instrument in the hands of this deity, and then the instrument glows and finally becomes this deity, so as to quickly eliminate our agitation from the stages of reincarnation, birth, growth and death. Seed
If no one explains it, people will think that tantra is not only full of profound mystery, but also extremely cruel and obscene, but in fact it is not. Even the angry King Kong, who looks fierce on the surface, is full of wisdom and compassion, and there is no cruelty or pornography at all. Because it is difficult for many people to understand, even if the tantric Buddhism is very effective, if you are not enlightened, you can't hear it, you can't practice it, and you can't even read it. Because the introduction here is not very deep, it does not violate the tantric requirements.
(13) Eat meat
1, provided
In the past, our meals not only had nothing to do with Bodhisattva Daoism, but also had something to do with bad taste, because our meals were often at the expense of hurting the lives of other sentient beings.
Sakyamuni Buddha clearly pointed out in the Mahayana classic: I was not allowed to eat meat in the past, now and in the future. And preached a lot about the suffering of meat: eating meat greatly affects the birth and growth of compassion and so on.
But we can't equate vegetarianism with learning Buddhism just because eating bad meat, saying that we can't learn Buddhism without vegetarianism, so many people can't learn Buddhism, which will interrupt the good roots of such people. Buddha didn't ask for it, but we still have to take the overall situation into consideration. On any issue, don't go to extremes, which is what the Buddha asked of us, otherwise haste makes waste.
Many people who don't understand think that Tantric can make people eat meat because many Tantric practitioners are eating meat. Tantric classics are basically the same as Mahayana classics, and there is no permission to eat meat as food. This is the case in dzogchen, especially the time wheel King Kong. Shi Wheel King Kong talked about the suffering of meat even more seriously than the general Mahayana classic.
But for those who have just learned Buddhism, the requirements should not be too high. As long as they can do it themselves, they don't kill or eat alive. In the process of becoming a vegetarian, many Buddhists will encounter the incomprehension of their family and friends, and even create a lot of jobs, thus causing family disharmony. In this case, it is certainly good to overcome difficulties and stick to a vegetarian diet. As a last resort, tantra also has some useful methods for meat eaters-through the power of magic, it can alleviate the evil of meat eating and benefit some sentient beings at the same time.
