The Original Text and Appreciation of Yang Yi in Hanwu

Yang yi

Penglai tapiscia sinensis is romantic, and it is difficult to return to the air when it is weak.

At night, the bamboo palace is lit for worship, and the golden palm is exposed to pay for the meal.

Li Tong seeks the dragon seed in Qinghai, but he is taboo to eat horse liver.

Mr. Dai Zhao's teeth are woven into shells, so he taught Somy to go to Chang 'an.

This epic was written in Jingdezhen for three years (1006). According to "The History of the Song Dynasty, Zhenzong" formed an alliance with Jiyuan, and the Zen was exhausted, and the auspicious spirit rose, and the sacred books fell repeatedly, which led to respect for security and a country's monarch and ministers were crazy. "Because of the true Sect's belief in Fu Rui, the celestial phenomena in and out of the ruling party are illusory and auspicious, and the court is shrouded in an illusory and grotesque atmosphere like a madman. This has caused some people of insight to be uneasy. Seven librarians, including Yang Yi and others, sang duets with each other on the topic of Hanwu, satirizing the reality by using the historical fact that Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty was superstitious about ghosts and gods, seriously used alchemists and despised talents. Among them, Yang and Liu are the most famous.

"Penglai tapiscia sinensis is romantic, and weak water is difficult to return to the air." The legendary Penglai is a sacred mountain in the Bohai Sea. "Immortals and elixirs are here. Its animals and beasts are all white, and gold and silver are palaces ... If you face it, the wind will take you away, and you will never reach the clouds (Historical Records of Amenorrhea). "Weak water" refers to the allusion mentioned in Dong Fangshuo's old work "Ten Kingdoms": Fenglin Prefecture is in the middle of the West Sea. "The mainland is surrounded by weak water, and a feather can't float, so it can't be crossed." These two sentences say that Penglai tapiscia sinensis is submerged in the vast white waves, just like Fenglinzhou is surrounded by insurmountable weak water, so it is difficult to reach it near. Unwilling to do so, Emperor Wudi of the Han Dynasty sent alchemists and others to "go to the sea to seek the Anqi Sage of Penglai" (Records of the Historian Guan Chan Ji) for many times, but the results were all "difficult to seek" and never succeeded.

"Night light bamboo palace worship, dew palm pays for the meal." "Bamboo Palace" is a shrine palace in Ganquan Palace, built of bamboo. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty once had Ganquan ascend to heaven to treat the gods. "At night, there is always a meteor-like divine light gathering on the altar, and the emperor looks at it from the bamboo palace" (History of Rites and Music). Meteors are a common natural phenomenon, but they disdain to watch night worship. The word "fatigue" means irony. "Pu" is a description of dew. The word "Zhao" in the previous sentence is a lingua franca, and this sentence is finely carved as opposed to the word "Pu". Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty once made a dish of dew on the altar and a bronze cactus, and drank it with sweet dew, hoping to live a long life. Here, the word "fee" is used instead of "filling" rice, which means ridicule.

"Seeking Dragon Species in Qinghai, Li Tong" refers to the fact that Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty sent troops to the northwest in order to seek heavenly horses. According to "Biography of the Northern History of Tugu Hun", the name of the pony born to a good horse in Qinghai is dragon. In fact, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty wanted Tianma, and then he got the dragon. "Historical Records Biography of Dawan" records that Dawan is "a bloody horse, and its congenital girl is also". Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty named Dawan Blood Horse "Tianma". In order to get Tianma, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty thought that "Tianma is the medium of dragons" (the song of Han Shu) and sent tens of thousands of troops to the Dawan. The poet is connected with the dragon species through Tianma. "Looking for the dragon species in Qinghai" is an implicit statement. It is said that Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was always stubborn towards alchemists. Emperor Wudi of the Han Dynasty was superstitious about ghosts and gods. Cubist Shaoweng was General Wencheng and Luan Dawei was General Wuli. After that, Shao Weng's false trace was exposed and killed. However, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty still "regretted his early death and kept his mouth shut for fear of Luan's great fear, so he used the ancient rumor of horse liver poison to falsely claim that" Wen Cheng ate horse liver's ear "(Book of Historical Records, Enchantment). It further reveals that Emperor Wudi, a generation of heroes, was trapped in an illusory mud pond and could not extricate himself. The second uses two complementary historical facts to satirize the confrontation. This couplet satirizes the antithesis with two opposing and complementary historical facts.

"I'm waiting for Mr. Zhao's teeth to weave shells, so I'll teach Somy to go to Chang 'an. At first, Dong Fangshuo wrote to Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty and said, "I ... if my eyes hang like pearls and my teeth are braided, I can become the minister of the Emperor of Heaven." "In Wei Zhi, I ordered to call the bus (waiting for an appointment at the bus stop), but I was not saved. "Later, he deliberately threatened Emperor Wu to ride from Zhu Ru and finally got the opportunity to meet Emperor Wu." Zhao Wenshuo: "Why are you afraid of Zhu Ru?" Yes, "... Zhu Ru is more than three feet long. Give a bag of millet to 240 yuan. Chen Shuo is more than nine feet long, and he also provided a bag of millet in the amount of 240 yuan. Zhu Ru is so full that I am so hungry. I can use my words, but I am fortunate to be different; If not, leave it alone. There is no order, but begging is safe. "Laugh, because the Golden Horse Gate is waiting to be summoned (an excellent courtesy for applicants), and it is a little close" (see Biography of Han Dong Fang Shuochuan). With this allusion, the poet is mocking Liang Wudi's obsession with seeking immortality, his arrogance in fighting, his heavy use of alchemists and his neglect of talents. According to Meng Qian's Stories, when Yang Yi was a bachelor of Hanlin, she didn't have other positions and her salary was not much. Because his family was poor, he asked to transfer. His statement said: "I am a vassal of Xu Ganquan, and I will eventually be the ghost of Mo Ao. The illness of the follower is not irritating, and Fang Shuo is hungry. " Therefore, Dong Fangshuo's story is also used here to imply that the true sects yearn for immortals, but meet the scribes.

The whole poem combines the singing of history with the singing of nostalgia, the blending of history and reality, and the "invention by borrowing things", which is safe and natural, subtly expressing dissatisfaction with reality and meaningful. The whole poem is full of positive allusions, beautiful words, precise antithesis, concise words and natural success, which is quite similar to Li Shangyin's poetic style.

Qian recited Hanwu, saying, "When a crane is invited to ride, the poor soldiers treat the dragon media to the west." Liu (Yun) chanted "Ming Di" and said, "The pear garden law department is also a Hu department, and the jade pavilion is shorter." ..... Wen Gong also recited the cloud in Hanwu: "Fight for the dragon species in Qinghai, and eat horse liver to death. Mr. Zhao's teeth are woven into shells, but he instigated Ma to go to Chang 'an. "Ming Taizu" says: "He Shuo rebelled against the official and frightened the horse, and the old people in Wei Qiao knew the real dragon. Pengshan is empty, looking back, there are millions of storms. " Compared with Qian and Liu, he looks particularly old and healthy. (volume 1 of Liu Kezhuang's later story)

This poem refers to Liang Wudi's vain attempt to seek immortality, his arrogant use of troops, but he doesn't care about the place of talents. (Fang Hui "Lv Kui Sui" Volume 3)
