How to be a captain?

Abstract: The civil aviation captain has the highest legal status and supreme power in flight, and he is directly and ultimately responsible for the safety of aircraft and passengers in aviation activities. Generally speaking, becoming a captain is not an easy task. It takes about 10 years from being admitted to the Aviation Academy to finally becoming a qualified captain. Let's get to know the Chinese captain. How to be a captain

1, first of all, we must take an examination of aviation colleges.

Civil aviation pilots have to go through the cruel "sea election" stage and need to go through the registration and primary election stage. Applicants should undergo a comprehensive physical examination and psychological examination in all subjects, and any unqualified item will be eliminated. The admission rate is very low at this stage. Even if you pass this pass, your college entrance examination scores must reach the admission line, otherwise you will still fail. But even if you become a "student", there are other tests, such as requiring a certain grounding rate, which is generally around 8%. So the final admission rate is only 4%-5%.

2. Studying in aviation colleges.

After successful enrollment, students need to spend 1-2 years to complete the theoretical course study, and start the formal flight phase study for 2-3 years after passing all the grades. For example, China Civil Aviation Flight Academy, civil aviation university of china, Beihang University and major flight training institutions at home and abroad are all optional training institutions. During the four years of college training, the state subsidizes the training fee of at least 40W for each student. In terms of flight training, the training of university pilots is about 3,000 yuan/hour, and the flight time is more than 250 hours. Therefore, the total cost of these four years is at least 75W, which is all borne by airlines.

3. Practice training

After graduating from aviation colleges, the colleges have to carry out very complicated training. After completing the training of private photos, instruments and business photos in China, and passing the exams of changing photos, simulators and other items, you can sign labor contracts with airlines according to the situation and become a member of the reserve pilots.

Step 4 get into work

The initial work needs to go through six months to one year of refitting machine training, and then from the second officer-co-pilot-driver-captain, step by step training and assessment.

No matter how good a pilot is, it takes more than 7 years of actual flight and training to become a captain. In addition, every year, pilots have to take part in special situations and weather training, as well as meteorological, geographical and management knowledge training.
