On the website of China Copyright Protection Center, users should register first, then log in, fill in the application form online as required, and then confirm, submit and print it online.
2. Submit application documents
The applicant or agent shall submit paper registration application documents as required.
3. The registration authority accepts the application.
If the application documents meet the acceptance conditions, the registration authority shall accept them within the prescribed time limit and issue a notice of acceptance to the applicant or agent; Do not meet the acceptance requirements, issued a notice of correction.
According to the provisions of the computer software registration method, if the application documents are defective, the applicant or agent shall submit the corrected materials within 30 working days according to the requirements of the notice of correction. If no correction is made at the expiration of the time limit, the application shall be deemed to be withdrawn; In line with the relevant provisions of Article 21 of the Measures for the Registration of Computer Software Copyright, the registration institution shall not register it, and notify the applicant or agent in writing.
Step 4 review
After examination, it conforms to the provisions of the Regulations on the Protection of Computer Software and the Measures for the Registration of Computer Software Copyright and is registered; Do not meet the requirements, issued a notice of correction.
Step 5 get a registration certificate
After 30 working days from the date of acceptance of the application, the applicant or agent can log on to the website of China Copyright Protection Center to inquire about the announcement of software copyright registration. After consulting the registration announcement of the applied software, the applicant or agent in Beijing can apply for a license in the registration hall of China Copyright Protection Center with the original acceptance notice three working days after the software registration announcement is issued.
The contact address of the applicant or agent is out of town. China Copyright Protection Center will mail the certificate to the address filled in the application form. Please fill in the correct contact address in the application form.

1. The applicant can register the copyright of computer software by himself or entrust an agency for registration.
2. The applicant shall keep one copy of the application documents submitted, so as to keep the contents of the documents consistent in the correction procedure.

6. If the copyright owner is an enterprise legal person or a public institution legal person, a valid copy of the business license of the enterprise legal person or the certificate of the public institution legal person shall be submitted, and the official seal of the unit shall be affixed;

If the copyright owner is a Hong Kong legal person, the original registration certificate and business registration certificate within the validity period shall be submitted and notarized by a Hong Kong lawyer entrusted by the Ministry of Justice of China.
If the above-mentioned identity documents and other documents related to registration (such as contracts or agreements) are in foreign languages, the original Chinese translation translated by a qualified translation unit and stamped with the official seal of the translation unit shall be submitted together.

If an applicant or agent for software registration in different places needs to obtain his/her certificate, he/she should put brackets after the contact person in the information column of the applicant or agent in the application form, and indicate the contact address of the contact person in Beijing.
