The secondary vocational card is a debit card issued by a special issuing bank with the identification code of secondary vocational students who enjoy the treatment of national bursary policy. The secondary vocational card project was implemented in the fall semester of 20 10, with "one card per person, centralized application and individual activation".
Card-issuing banks offer the following preferential fees to students with secondary vocational cards: free card opening fees, free annual fees and small account management fees within three years from the date of card opening, and free SMS notification service for bursaries.
The card issuers of secondary vocational schools tentatively set five banks, namely Industrial and Commercial Bank, Agricultural Bank, China Bank, China Construction Bank, Postal Savings Bank and Rural Credit Cooperatives. The four ministries and commissions will gradually expand the scope of issuing banks according to the promotion and implementation of secondary vocational cards and the willingness of other banks to participate.
