Educational practice report

Education Practice Report I am also a college student from rural areas, and I have thought about the current situation and serious problems of rural education many times. Taking the opportunity of this winter vacation practice report, I conducted an in-depth investigation and research on the rural education problems that I have been thinking about for several years.

How long do rural children live in the countryside, and there are few opportunities to see and know the outside world. They can only imagine the magnificent Tiananmen Gate and the Forbidden City with thousands of years of history and culture from textbooks and TV. In their young minds, they may not understand "grandeur". Maybe it's a tall building that has sprung up in the city, maybe it's a few pontoons on the beach of the Yellow River, or maybe it's just a few stone lions in front of their neighbors. ......

They are full of curiosity and yearning for the unknown world outside. When they finally began to understand that the magnificent Tiananmen Square was not just a few pontoons and a few stone lions, they finally wanted to fly away from the village where they grew up.

But when you ask them if they will come back in the future, almost all the children will be silent. Maybe they are too young to understand the meaning of this problem, maybe they are too eager to see the outside world to broaden their horizons, maybe their thirst needs irrigation from the outside world, or maybe they have been influenced by going to big cities. ......

Talent and education echoed in my mind again.

A friend once told me a true story. There is a student from a poor mountain village in a key middle school in a province who studies very hard. There is a word at his bedside that inspires him to study, only nine words: don't forget! You are a rural hukou! ! !

Hearing this, my heart is heavy. The great difference between urban and rural areas in China has caused an extreme mistake in educational concept. Under the pressure of rural hukou and living environment, rural children almost exhausted all their energy to study the college entrance examination in order to get rid of the backward environment and realize their dreams of a better life. But when these village pride pass the exam and become a college student? How many of them have returned to their less affluent hometown and devoted themselves to construction? Everyone yearns for a better life, which is understandable, but what is left in the village? The names of several college students are just an illusory honor. Talent is still scarce and life is still poor.

This talent flow exists not only between rural areas and cities, but also between small cities and big cities, between backward areas and developed areas, even between western and eastern China, and between domestic and foreign countries. Children are eager for knowledge, and villages also need talents and technology. However, some objective realities have changed our educational concept and caused brain drain. Children need not only knowledge, but also the truth of being a man and the concept of adapting to the development of the times and the overall situation. As college students in the new era, we have the responsibility and obligation to do our best to support rural education!

In the new period, rural education still faces many problems, and solving these problems will greatly promote rural development.

In a recent survey of rural education, many teachers reported that the actual dropout rate of junior middle school students in rural areas is far higher than the 3% standard controlled by the state, and in some areas, the actual dropout rate is as high as 40%. These areas are not particularly poor, and most students are tired of learning. In order to reduce the dropout rate in statistical reports, some counties put students who are expected to enter colleges and universities into separate classes, and the rest into vocational and technical classes. In fact, students are allowed to let themselves go, but they can get a diploma. The phenomenon of recessive dropout in rural junior middle schools is more serious.

Teachers generally report that sophomore students suffer the most, because during this period, it is clear whether they can be admitted to high school. On the one hand, some students can't keep up with their studies and are tired of learning; On the other hand, some parents think that there is no hope for their children to go to school. It is better to go home and farm, or learn some skills and work to earn money.

In addition, the employment problem of college students has become more and more serious in recent years. Many rural families think that their children spend most of their savings when they go to college. If they can't find a job after graduation, they might as well go out to work a few years earlier to earn money. As everyone knows, it is these serious problems that make the dropout rate of rural children higher and higher. The probability of college students in a village does not exceed% 10.

It is these serious problems in rural areas that make the gap between urban and rural areas widening.
